@caniwatchavidplz my whole arguement was, If you invest money in an old car, no matter how much horsepower you get out of it, for the same amount you can buy yourself something newer with better upgrades available, newer technology and just looks more modern. I mentioned the Mustang GT because its very fast, the interior layout is exceptional, if not the best of the American Muscle cars, its Rear drive and fairly cheap, there isnt a car on the market today for 30k with that musch power

Honda did make the NSX and the S2000 two cars that are regarded as being in the top 20 best cars ever made. Unlike Ford. Honda doesnt mass produce their sports cars. Which means you wont see an Nsx or S2000 driving around every 5 min like you would a Mustang. Mustangs have lost all their magic because they are mass produced and are a dime a dozen so owning a mustang is nothing special
@Metalhead6520 The NSX and S2000 were terrific sports cars, the NSX is still one of my favorite sports cars ever made! however, living in a realistic world dealing with realistic finances, this is where Ford made owning a sports cars possible, a 91 or 92' NSX in good condition with moderate miles can go for the same price as a new Mustang GT, not to mention the V6 Mustang produces over 300hp while the NSX doesnt. The Achilles heal for the NSX was HP and torque, something Ford doesnt get wrong
@6UNLEASHED Si's aren't supercharged mister stock, and they don't sell them outside of the States. I can praise any tuner and considering how easy it is to tune and mod this old Civic I would put it in that category. I like to do my own work...and you can do anything for these. AWD conversion? No problem. Motor swap? Easy. Turbo? Easy. Cheap double wishbone? Yes please. You can slam it all you want but I'll take this over some stock Stang or Evo any day.
@60SecondAssassin1 My point is, from a FAST STOCK car like the new 5L Mustang, you DONT HAVE TO invest in anything to make it fast, with the civic's, you need to throw money down to make it fast...most likely thousands of dollars for hp gains, with a stock Mustang GT it comes 435 STOCK! if you tune a civic to the max it probably wont equal a half of that. So, with all the money you make to modify a car, you can buy 1 that already fast.

I enjoy having a project. It is about the process, not just the end result and when I'm done I can say the car is truly mine and not just another factory spit out machine. A Complete GT30 Turbo setup costs anywhere from 1-3K for a B Series engine, and internals on a Civic are cheap as FUCK. B16 Turbo for 5-6K and Nail the shit out of it for years on end without it blowing, and 10 Years later it will still be a 1.6L Civic shitting on On BMW's. Learn a little, its contagious.

The only way a civic can beat a car like the 135i, is to load it up with over $10,000 in mods. Lets see a "stock" civic go head to head with a 135i at the racetrack and watch the end result. @6UNLEASHED a) I'm probably older than you and b) no it won't. The new Mustangs are nice, but older one's are pure garbage for the most part. Had a 5.0 Fox body myself...needless to say I sold that shit box. I wasted money on Koni's and the fucker still handled like a pile of shit. @60SecondAssassin1 first of all, I praise the NEW 5L mustangs not the junk you wasted your money on. secondly, since when are American Muscle cars supposed to handle like Porsches? your the one that needs to wake up and get off the computer...lastly, the new 5L mustang is the best bang for the buck, its pumping out 435hp stock, FORD rated the hp too low, try finding another car that puts out that much HP for 30k

@caniwatchavidplz my whole arguement was, If you invest money in an old car, no matter how much horsepower you get out of it, for the same amount you can buy yourself something newer with better upgrades available, newer technology and just looks more modern. I mentioned the Mustang GT because its very fast, the interior layout is exceptional, if not the best of the American Muscle cars, its Rear drive and fairly cheap, there isnt a car on the market today for 30k with that musch power

@6UNLEASHED Right, which is why I like the new Mustang (other than it's old meets modern styling). I just don't like old Mustangs for the most part, but I have a soft spot for the SVO. I can appreciate a boosted 4 cyl like an SVO or Sierra (Merkur) more than a 8 cyl.

@ronkerjake1 ohhhh ya, the famous "hp per litre" arguement..you know what I have to say to that, ITS NOT A BMW! or any Luxury sport car. With all the money these turds waste on "hooking" up cars, they could have bought a decent Euro sport coupe/sedan that holds better resale value, has better quality materials used and handles like a dream for my RWD fans....the Fast&Furious days are long gone...they died out a decade ago, but then again, thats what seperates us from them.

@Vitoman808 The New Mustang GT has 435hp STOCK, 5k in upgrades can exceed over 500hp. Dollar for Dollar its going to be impossible to get a rear drive 400+hp sports car for 30k. I bet you cant name another brand new vehicle that is better then it, performance and price wise.

@6UNLEASHED Look Im a honda fan and i can accept the fact that Hondas arent built for speed.But.... Honda did make the NSX and the S2000 two cars that are regarded as being in the top 20 best cars ever made. Unlike Ford. Honda doesnt mass produce their sports cars. Which means you wont see an Nsx or S2000 driving around every 5 min like you would a Mustang. Mustangs have lost all their magic because they are mass produced and are a dime a dozen so owning a mustang is nothing special

@Metalhead6520 The NSX and S2000 were terrific sports cars, the NSX is still one of my favorite sports cars ever made! however, living in a realistic world dealing with realistic finances, this is where Ford made owning a sports cars possible, a 91 or 92' NSX in good condition with moderate miles can go for the same price as a new Mustang GT, not to mention the V6 Mustang produces over 300hp while the NSX doesnt. The Achilles heal for the NSX was HP and torque, something Ford doesnt get wrong

@6UNLEASHED Si's aren't supercharged mister stock, and they don't sell them outside of the States. I can praise any tuner and considering how easy it is to tune and mod this old Civic I would put it in that category. I like to do my own work...and you can do anything for these. AWD conversion? No problem. Motor swap? Easy. Turbo? Easy. Cheap double wishbone? Yes please. You can slam it all you want but I'll take this over some stock Stang or Evo any day.

@60SecondAssassin1 My point is, from a FAST STOCK car like the new 5L Mustang, you DONT HAVE TO invest in anything to make it fast, with the civic's, you need to throw money down to make it fast...most likely thousands of dollars for hp gains, with a stock Mustang GT it comes 435 STOCK! if you tune a civic to the max it probably wont equal a half of that. So, with all the money you make to modify a car, you can buy 1 that already fast.

@6UNLEASHED Depends on what Civic you are talking about, but just a turbo charger kit. Anyway for me it is not about the money. I don't think you understand but I enjoy working on cars. I enjoy having a project. It is about the process, not just the end result and when I'm done I can say the car is truly mine and not just another factory spit out machine. I understand people like me are a dying breed of car enthusiasts.

@60SecondAssassin1 Maybe its because I've tuned so many cars, and went through it so many times that I just dont see a point anymore...all the money I invested in cars to modify them and make them better, I could have bought a nice used Maserati GT, I come to a point where car companies spend millions of dollars investing in making a car a certain way, why would I want to change that? for instance, the Mustang GT, its fast out of the box without having me to put a nickel into it

@obbyb1 You shouldnt comment on something you know nothing about. For instance, 30k invested in a junker as seen in this video vs a highly respectable 135i, which by the way, in 10 years will still be a BMW.
If you opened your eyes to read what I've been saying previously, I am only comparing the out-of-the-box horsepower numbers STOCK vs what you have to INVEST to make a tuned car fast. Read alittle, its contagious

@6UNLEASHED I don't usually lower myself to people's standards and comment back once they have humiliated themselves, but in your case I will. Who in gods name, invests 30K into a little Civic? A Complete GT30 Turbo setup costs anywhere from 1-3K for a B Series engine, and internals on a Civic are cheap as FUCK. B16 Turbo for 5-6K and Nail the shit out of it for years on end without it blowing, and 10 Years later it will still be a 1.6L Civic shitting on On BMW's. Learn a little, its contagious.

This race was like as if these were bodybuilders. The BMW is all natural (stock from the factory) while the civic needs juice to keep up,ha!

@RJBbass2000 Every Car Company in the world tries to build a sport sedan and coupe as good as the 3 series, its been the benchmark for companies for 2 decades and maybe more. There has to be a reason why the 3 series is able to convince nearly every car magazine editor, every driver that its a perfect balance of everything...furthermore, resale value is a benchmark for BMW too! so either you buy one new or get one used, your investing in something that has value.
