what are you all saying? Sure the background music is awesome but I don't think that julian's voice is making the song worse in any way, it's just that in every song on this album is too many sounds that makes you want to listen to it without singing. Julian is a really great singer especially in this song glass where tones come really high and it's a bit anusual for Julian's singing. Well I think that the whole CD is a real masterpiece.

I am so proud of Julian for chasing down his musical desires. I love this album! He never ceases to amaze me! Don't get me wrong, I love The Strokes, loved'em for for 8 years, seen them 15 times, but man, Julian has done some great work on this album. Can't wait till The Strokes come back, but until then my ears and soul will be enjoying Phrazes for the Young with absoultely no complaints and none of this "oohh, he should'a stuck with The Strokes"bullshit. he's amazing no matter what he does!
