You guys have to realize, Jeff Beck wouldn't be famous if it wasn't for Jimmy. Jimmy was offered a position in the Yardbirds, but had to refuse due to health issues. They both great guitarists, but can't be compared. Each has their own specific style.

most of his solo here is out of key , but of course most of his playing was that way

so i doubt he would notice .

Jimmy played very well here. However I think his guitar was not tuned poperly.

I agree Jimmy Page did struggle with the solo in this video compared to Jeff Beck's original.

I think though he made up a lot of ground and equalled Beck in later years.

He didn't struggle to play Becks solo, because he was playing his own solo not Becks, like Jimmy Page would, get over it.
