Importance of P38s

Thanks! I Have extra can openers, around the house and 2 yrs of stored food, many cans in all sizes, where can I get one? Do you think I need a P 38, if I have larger can openers? I have 20 boxes of strike anywhere matches and 3 fire starter flints, too!

Personally I always carry a P38 on me and it has come in handy. If you will send me your address in a private email I'll send you a P38.

If u have no p38,knife of can opener.You can rub the bottom of the can on cement sidewalk of a street curb .Using the concrete like a grinder and you can open the can without loosen the food.I figured this out the hard way!

I really enjoy all your videos and you have saved me hours of experimentation. I agree with the p38, just so others will know, you can open cans by rubbing them on concrete if you are in an urban situation. you can check out abodudeman. thanks for all the cool videos

The gauge of some food cans is so thin they can be easily opened with a 1" penknife. Go for the side and cut circumferentially. When 3/4 way around, bend the can open.

I agree on 2 things - P38's are GREAT! & the survival portion of the experiment was stupid. However it was a very interesting sociology experiment. I think the dynamics between the different types of characters had its place in the study - I came away with 2 Things - People are stupid - and never underestimate who really is stupid!
