Vonn is actually one of the greatest American female skiers of all time. It's a shame a media and people obsessed with monkeys putting a ball through a hoop or with grown men adjusting their crotch and spitting take no notice of her. It's no wonder she spends most of her time in Europe, where they adore her and appreciate her talent - and can also tell she's not a bad looking gal.

she was on the list for an ESPY in the "best female athete" category, so don't think Americans don't know and appreciate her as well. She spends time in Europe for races, but trains in Aspen, Colorado. She made the cover of Sports Illustrated for Christ's sake, just because Americans excel at many sports that you don't find entertaining or "takes talent", don't think we don't know who our best skier is. We love our Lindsey.
