The nazis kill 6 million jews, gypsies, etc, and now Germans all feel sorry for what they did and apologise.
The turks kill 5 million Greeks, Armenians and Assyrians from 1850-1923, or 3.5 million in 1915-1923.
Turks refuse to apologise for it, destroy the evidence and cover up, and then say the people deserved it.

There were no jews or albanians in the Peloponnese in 1821 - albanians came to Greece in the early 1990's, and the jews of Greece were located in thessaloniki which was under turkish occupation at the time

Have you heard of the death marches that Greek Pontians and Armenians had to do?? They were forced to march across anatolia with no food or water, so they starved to death, and the few who managed to reach the final destination of allepo (now in syria) they were then shot to death - over 1.5 million Greeks and 2 million Armenians died in those marches

Smyrna was more than 50% Greek, thus Greeks made the majority, in fact there was so many Greeks in the city, that the turks called it "infidel Smyrna".

By definition Greece liberated the city (not occupied) because the majority of the population was Greek. When the turks took the city, they murdered 150,000 Greek and Armenian civillians who had not escaped. The turks then burned the city to the ground except for the turkish quarter, and then renaming the city "izmir"
