On average each class story could take around 200-300 hours to complete...if you take it nice and slow..it'll probably be like 400-500 hours. And then add the other classes and you've got 1000s of hours of content + future updates with new stories & planets being added....this'll be a never ending story.

Greatest game ive ever played. Listening to this brings back all those memories of roaming the streets and apartments of Taris, just enjoying the music and the sights. By far the greatest game ive ever had the pleasure of playing. I want to play it again....but my computer wont support it anymore. Think the discs messed up or something.
KOTOR is just one of the few and amazing games that never gets boring, no matter how much you play it. Thats something that other great games dont have.

I've played loads of games, on all consoles. My friend gave me this to try and I laughed. I then decided to play it. It now holds a place in my heart as my favourite game of all time, please make a KoTOR 3 :) can't wait for swtor either.

Battlefront 3 is on its way!! I know that swtor wont be the same as the original kotors, but you should give it a chance. The genius of Bioware + the greatness of Lucas Arts + 6 years of working on it + canon tradition = one epic game.
@ACTIVEDEVICE Except Bioware has nothing to do with Battlefront 3, and I am unsure about the dev team working on it. It was Free Radical Design at first, but they are defunct (Haze did them in) and was absorbed by Crytek . I wish Bioware would do B3, though they seriously dropped the ball (IMO) on Dragon Age 2.

i love this game, it brings back memories of 6th grade. games nowadays have nowhere the same quality as this did, i miss kotor... and i miss the old fable. a farewell to the past and a look forward to the future i suppose
the old republic MMO is supposed to be KOTOR 3, in a sense....
but even by FREE MMO standards, it looks....a tad lacking on the class and race selection. . . only 4 classes per side of the force?....and each class on either side really the same thing jsut with a different name?...really?...

Yeah, I skipped school a few times to just play this game (had pot to smoke also, perfect setup), and I remember how fun Taris was on those days. I loved the battle arena, even though there's only 6 contestants (Bendak Starkiller being the only deathmatch) it was still hard once it got to Ice. The Lower-Street is one of my favorite parts too, like a ghetto in Star Wars it put me home.

theres one word to describe this game, EPIC. The characters, the setting, the music everything was top notch, brilliant. The story was amazing for a game that came out in what was it 2003? and i mean if bioware make games like this, and now ther making an online star wars the old republic, a warcraft like game its gonna be huge, may even knock warcraft off the top spot.

I remeber playing this game when I was 11. I couldn't play it very well but it was still lots of fun. On friday nights I would stay up all night playing it. I'm 15 now and my dad got rid of it to get the Wii. Now we are looking for it so we can play it again because we kept our X-Box. I still love the game even though we don't have it any more.
I found Kotor by random - i wanted to buy jedi academy and i saw kotor, so i took both - then i started kotor, and well, it turned out that this is still my favorite game of all time.
I play this game now on xbox 360 cuz i got bored. I really like the music.
Except , the disc i use is really old , so after like 2 hours of gameplay all the audio will just stop. I usually take that as a sign that ive played enough.
This is the music I yearn for when I get the itch to play KOTOR again. And it's possibly the most convincing music to listen to for me to decide on starting a new game. It just gives me that feeling that I'm only at the beginning and the game is already amazing.

I got this game some years back as my first game on the XBox. At the time, I was a total noob to MMO's. I didn't even know how to equip stuff! And so I failed epicly running in my underwear all around Taris until eventually I was killed by...you guessed it...Deadeye freaking Duncan.
Now that I'm older and obviously more skilled and competent at MMO's I have finally beaten this game multiple times and I enjoy it a lot.
...I think I was 9-11 years old. Im from Finland so I didnt understand any word what they said on dialogy. but thanks for my big brother who was my transleter and I could understand and fell love with game... I just hope I could play this first time again <3

This game came out barely a month before I moved away from Kentucky to SC as a 13 year old...and one of my last memories with my best friend there was renting this game ,staying up super late and fighting through the Endar Spire and then exploring all around Taris.
This music always brings me back to that night, and though we had a blast, its incredibly bittersweet to me.

@Uyusanis Hey, FU wasn't that bad! :P Obvioualy, it isn't comperable to KotOR, Commando and Battlefront - but I actually really liked the story and characters involved. The gameplay was just a little frustrating, but even that wasn't bad.

Its kinda funny how this music makes you calm and feel small compared to everything happening on taris...even though your in a bad spot and screwed in the game, makes you feel good. Thats why I've always loved bioware..awesome music+biowares epic story that makes you feel so involved and connected to your character's no matter what game they make. Bioware ftw

Man...this sure brings back old memories, i was around 19 and quit my job (it sucked anyways) and bought Kotor for Xbox. and i still don't regret it lol. I remember playing on Tarsis for days and days, and nights and refused to leave the planet cause of the epic music :D one of the best game ever developed. 10/10

I get the best feeling when listening to the sound track. It makes me sad, but when i'm mad, it can always calm me down. I remember staying up all night playing this game. Brings back too many memories of playing this game

Yeah, I skipped school a few times to just play this game (had pot to smoke also, perfect setup), and I remember how fun Taris was on those days. I loved the battle arena, even though there's only 6 contestants (Bendak Starkiller being the only deathmatch) it was still hard once it got to Ice. The Lower-Street is one of my favorite parts too, like a ghetto in Star Wars it put me home.

I love this game so much. It took up over a year of my life playing it everyday and exploring the seemingly never ending world. This music takes me back to first days of exploration. It kind of makes me sad because I want to go back and experience the way it was the very first time. Without knowing what happens and all that.

theres one word to describe this game, EPIC. The characters, the setting, the music everything was top notch, brilliant. The story was amazing for a game that came out in what was it 2003? and i mean if bioware make games like this, and now ther making an online star wars the old republic, a warcraft like game its gonna be huge, may even knock warcraft off the top spot.

when i used to get really mad and i needed to relax, i popped the game into my 360, went to dantooine, looked at the sun from the jedi academy ( everyone knows the bridge to get to the rodian wep dealer) ya tht 1 i looked up into the sun, with tht flying manta ray, and used to make me a nice iced tea stayed there and enjoyed the music with a beautiful view and watched, im getting it tomorrow, like it said in game stop, its in stock, wish me luck tht its there

i felt scared, alone and helpless, but i thought to myself, if i die, im not spending the last dam days of my life crying like a fucking baby, like i said i couldnt do much, but i reached for my desk drawer and pulled out KOTOR. It took my mind off of everything. The music, i didnt feel alone because of the characters, i know that sounds silly, but when you feel alone it helps to hear other people talking, eventually i got better and this game is just epic in every way. Truly epic.

i remember being ill, very ill, so ill i thought i was fucked, i honestly thought i was going to die. I couldnt do anything, it was my heart. You cannot imagine how scared i was. Actually believing 100% that you're going to die is the worst feeling ever. I was too weak to move really, all i could do was sit in bed, i wasnt at the hospital, i went there and they said i was fine... why i dont know.

I remeber playing this game when I was 11. I couldn't play it very well but it was still lots of fun. On friday nights I would stay up all night playing it. I'm 15 now and my dad got rid of it to get the Wii. Now we are looking for it so we can play it again because we kept our X-Box. I still love the game even though we don't have it any more.

I play this game now on xbox 360 cuz i got bored. I really like the music.
Except , the disc i use is really old , so after like 2 hours of gameplay all the audio will just stop. I usually take that as a sign that ive played enough.

This is the music I yearn for when I get the itch to play KOTOR again. And it's possibly the most convincing music to listen to for me to decide on starting a new game. It just gives me that feeling that I'm only at the beginning and the game is already amazing.

KOTOR is the best game of all time.
I love how subtle the music is and at the same time it keeps you rooted to the story and its original score, not from the movies...god I love this game.

@yarealpoof people underrate this game so much. I know it won best game of the year in '03, but it still deserves a higher title. The music, the gameplay, the storyline are all just what makes you feel as if you are a part of the game. It truly is a piece of art.

I got this game some years back as my first game on the XBox. At the time, I was a total noob to MMO's. I didn't even know how to equip stuff! And so I failed epicly running in my underwear all around Taris until eventually I was killed by...you guessed it...Deadeye freaking Duncan.
Now that I'm older and obviously more skilled and competent at MMO's I have finally beaten this game multiple times and I enjoy it a lot.

...I think I was 9-11 years old. Im from Finland so I didnt understand any word what they said on dialogy. but thanks for my big brother who was my transleter and I could understand and fell love with game... I just hope I could play this first time again <3

This game came out barely a month before I moved away from Kentucky to SC as a 13 year old...and one of my last memories with my best friend there was renting this game ,staying up super late and fighting through the Endar Spire and then exploring all around Taris.
This music always brings me back to that night, and though we had a blast, its incredibly bittersweet to me.
