no offense bro i know were racing a hatch and those are light compaired to ur sedan but in the distance drive by shots that looked hella slow. am i wrong about what i saw? but what you should do if u dont have it is stage 3 cam with the head ported and obviously stiffer springs and stroger retainers but go and do an ECU tune then u will be pushing some pony's :P

what motor was that? d16a? z6 y7 y8? I heard no vtec......y only 99hp??? my stock internal d16z6 with bolt ons and a slight tune make 139hp....hell with head work stage 2 crower cam new springs retainers ect. and a better tune with better ecu I can make close to 200hp not 200 but very close??? sorry bout your motor...guess its time for B series!!!!!! 2100 all day long LOL

car is slow because they done know what they are doing with the build. 2nd why its lower? weak 1.6 liter itbs single cam lose power unless u MOD It with better cams,headers,tune,fuel etc.

u need a more aggressive stronger motor with itb so u can pull that off. and dont look stupid.

the car wasn't tuned correctly. they probably pulled too much timing and caused either valve interference or detonation...or both.

ITBs don't add power. You need high compression and a tune to take advantage of them. They will actually lose power over a stock manifold if just bolted on.

Are those low compression pistons? if your putting ITB's and no turbo on it why would you put low compression pistons, geet a dome piston and then build it all motor with the ITBS

I´m planning to use the ITB's in my D16Y8 it has 13,85:1CR Stage 2 Cams and all the other stuff and runs on Ethanol( no pre-ignition )

But i´ts a long way to tune it so I'm planning a conventional intake manifold before the ITB's but They still in my project

vtec in engines series D (sohc) dont have much diference,the sohc engines dont have that sound like dohc engines with vtec

it just depends wat mods you put on .
