I've searched the internet in the past for information on the item you're describing but found nothing specific to the movie. I've seen this type of hair ornament referred to as a Bandeaux and it's pretty apparent to be Grecian inspired. I've always thought this particular adornment you refer to was just stunning. Wish I could find out more about it (ie, was it a band base, a wire base?)
