Sadly, Glenrothes was another epic fraud committed against the electorate by NuLiebore. Liebore were pretty certain of defeat but unsure of the margin so they rigged 7000 postal votes, hoping to get a narrow victory. Unfortunately for them, they underestimated their core vote of sheeple in the area and they ended up winning by 6000 odd votes. The result of that was that the register of votes had to 'disappear' and so it came to pass.

The Union dividend pays us out again.

@pluto4847 England isn't such a great place either. It has a number of faults and is also quite insecure about Scotland's chance at freedom from English rule. When Ireland was fighting for freedom in the 1910's and 1920's the English media etc described them as second rate citizens and so on. England like to discredit free thinking, proud nations. Its due to fear and arrogance. Its Scotland's choice. After all England fights for democratic societies free to choose their own futures doesn't it?

Scotland has changed. Even if you dont support Independence in our country it must be accepted that Alex Salmond is a world class politician. Compared to Jack Macconnel or Wendy Alexander atleast. What is wrong in this country when citizens who support the Independence of their country can be labeled racists? That speach alone on the 3rd of may 2007 gave me hope as Scottish person that we could finally be a REAL country.

Just in case people can't see the graphics: SNP gain from Lib Dem with a majority of just over 2,000 (SNP 41%, Lib Dem 36%, Con 15%, Lab 6%, Ind 1%). Swing: 10.5% from Lib Dem to SNP.

So, that's Alex Salmond MP (SNP, Banff and Buchan) and Alex Salmond MSP (SNP, Gordon). Do forgive me, but I thought that MP's couldn't be MSP's at the same time. So when is he going to do the decent thing and resign his Banff and Buchan Westminster seat?
