Generating depth of field in After Effects for Team Fortress 2 footage

how did you create the depth map layer - what plugin did you use - cuz i find it very hard to create artificial depth of field in moving clips...

@TimeWarp92 In the game Team Fortress 2, it's possible (and quite easy) to render a scene's depth map. It's a separate piece of footage to the original clip.
