  • when keith richards had a high voice haha

  • @80sHeavymetalthebest Before Keith and Jagger were considered legally dead.

  • Not one of my favorites but I LOVE THE FUCKING STONES MORE THAN I LOVE ANYTHING.

  • according to tests i am supposed to be really sick, chronically ill. my doctor shakes his head and says he does not know how sick i am. he says i do not look like someone who is sick. i listen to the best music there is, and dance. in my living room. a lovely angel comes to dance with me. i dont have time to be sick. it is not fun anyway. i pray and meditate. old hippy here, and could appreciate old hippy mama. mine died on me. best girls in the world. love and peace. bob a.

  • Dear Uploader, thank you for this lovely video. Please do us a favor by blocking all the imbeciles, who think they're geniuses, by comparing modern musicians to these great bands. Also please block those idiots who think they're special because they're minors and listen to rock n roll, as well as the shit bags who post that "You say, I say" shit. Now dear reader, please post this on every rock n' roll video you watch, so we can teach these ass wipes a lesson. Thank you.

  • @pfootball43 PREACH

  • May I recommend the book 'An Essential Guide To Music In The 1970s' by Johnny Zero. The author is a big fan of this track.

  • what year is this album from?

  • @poopy1239 released in 1972

  • I love Richard's high-pitch vocals (another good one is on "Torn and Frayed")

  • those bottles at the end, endless, go on, please don't stop, at least fade out, ok...

  • My favorite song on the whole album

  • reminds me of ridin down the streets of jackson, ms

  • Like the momentum pick up at 0:34!

  • Not my favorite song. But still good.

  • Watch the film 'Stones in Exile' Fuckin' Great. Then you'll get the whole album. Keith's master piece!

  • Kissin cunt in Cannes

  • Pure rock boogie from the 70's......still alive and well. Oh baby if I were a multi-millionaire and had my own radio station!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Absolutely some of the best music ever recorded.

  • Charlie just grooves along, lol.... he's awesome...

  • Fucking awesome sound quality.

  • BEST SONG TO LISTEN TO WHEN YOUR WASTED......SHIZZLE MY NIZZLE BITCHES

  • Too right this song just wouldn't be the same without Keith's backing vocals...

  • sadly this is main stream blues and not psychedelia

  • @MrAugustus88 Sadly, you're a retard.

  • Left shoe shuffle...Right shoe muffle....

You can feel the influences alive here. South of France sunshine, riviera seaspray, Nellcote Mansion, dirty and sleazy debauchery and the 'random' cuttings of phrases they used to write the lyric. Keef groove....timeless

  • LOL...."Judge and Jury walk out..............hand in hand!" A friend of mine stole this album and sold it to me for $5.00 when it first came out....not a bad deal.

  • the epitome of ROLLLIN!

  • awsome!!!!

  • their best album

  • More great music from the Stones!!!!

  • MY personal favorite, ever! Inspired me to play bass, and Keef is, as always, THE Rolling Stone!

  • @chazt78 you know what? I'm gonna get a bass and fuzztone myself too.. It's never too late thanks for the tip

  • @fergissy Hannah montana??....I say Grace slick

  • @oreokookie1000 ...or Janis Joplin

  • great song

  • Dunno what it is about THIS song - keeps me coming back for more. One of my top 10 Stones toons. "Kissing cunt in Cannes" - brilliant.

  • @slem54dietrich movies kissin cousins cut in cans. hehaa.

  • one of my fav songs

  • nothing's this down-to-earth yet so awesome like they're out of it, as the rolling stones

  • The blues !!!!!!

  • One of Keith Richards Finest Moments with the Stones-Bass & Backing Vocals just swinging hard with Charlie Watts Drums.

  • 4. Casino Boogie.

  • great song

  • can't wait to buy this album remastered 2010!

  • Yeah, I was getting REALLY amped for the remastered Exile release. But I've heard that these recent remasters are terribly compressed. That's without a doubt a drag!

  • @RyanW8 anyway. this cds gonna kick ass

  • Surely the Stones' best ever.Thanks.

  • this album has so many cool riffs in it.

  • gotta love that sax

  • Listen to "Casino boogie" and die richly !

  • este cd fue hecho en el sotano de una casa que habia sido tomada por los alemanes en la 2da guerra mundial... y aparte habia un cementerio en los subsuelos..... dirty nasty blusy

  • richards backing vocal is outstanding

  • @goonchistaw +1 on Keefs vocals !

always bugs me that age, booze , dope took that away from him & us.;)

dont get me wrong, still luv everything he does, just a different voice than what it was since around after some girls.

  • @stevebeagle nice 1 . time waits for no one as the song says .

he was @ his woolfstooth best with this one .

i also love his backing on loving cup ;)

  • @goonchistaw no doubt !

i'm also quick to let the Jones & Taylor (both wonderful in my eyes) were the best crowd how great Keith is by telling them to go listen to let it bleed,, other than Taylor playing on live with me & country honk & Jones percussion on midnight rambler & auto harp on you got the silver,, this IS KEITH'S ALBUM ! hell Monkey Man has gotta be the best 4 minutes of sound out there ! what a groove ! & all Keith

  • @stevebeagle very true it is richards album , my favourite period of this band is with mick taylor

monkey man is something else esp when all guits are richards

  • @goonchistaw i'm with ya ! the Taylor years were the prime years. the band was a powerhouse ! 69 to 74..the pinnacle years for sure.

  • @stevebeagle without a doubt i only got stones songs from 1963 - 1974

maybe the odd song from after M.T. left keith was the frame & taylor added another dimension to the live sound of the band. my channel is only rolling stones

  • @goonchistaw yeah i agree ,& i checked out your channel,, nice ! Black & Blue had a few good tunes,,but for me Some Girls was the end of there run at the top & the last album that i felt the need to get out & get on my own..having said that, & feeling the departure of Wyman was the nail in the coffin , it just aint the same. i did catch "a bigger Bang" and they certainly did not mail it in ! they still get the job done better than most bands 1/2 there age.

  • @stevebeagle thanks steve, i just kinda went off when mick taylor walked,

i know they have done some (killer tracks) but after it's only rock 'n' roll

i just didn't retain that much interest in the later work. some girls was great but they miss mick's input , which was what pulled me in , they are still light years better than any band i heard & exile is my favourite album of all time.

  • @goonchistaw agreed,,on all points

  • @stevebeagle same as , on all points ;)

  • @goonchistaw MAN !! just got the EXILE album with the 10 previously unreleased tracks (including an alternate loving cup)..the tune,,"i'm not signifying" itself is worth the price (and Keith aint even on it) !! for fathers day !...you need to pick this up ! at the very least you can pick the unreleased stuff up on it's own disc for a few bucks. i however needed a fresh new Exile for the car & i'm a happy man !

  • @stevebeagle i got it on may 18th the day it came out in england , it's great to listen to the clearer sound & bass the remaster has on it. had the version of loving cup a long time ago, & i really like the soul survivor , it's dreamy without the lyrics , just great playing . enjoy it in your car ;)

  • @goonchistaw yeah man,,great stuff ! road trip worthy indeed !

    be well.

  • @stevebeagle thanks man, don't get a speeding ticket though ;)

    be good man.

  • @goonchistaw Thats probably my favorite part of this album. Keith's backing vocals on nearly every track are just classic. Torn and Frayed is another outstanding example. Bobby Keys and Nicky Hopkins really make this album too.

  • @cgraber you said it all man.

    couldn't agree more

    thanx for your comment

  • @goonchistaw

Is that really Richards that sounds like crazy grandma voice in the background? that's awesome. I thought maybe it was jagger's voice overdubbed

  • @Francisthefootball Yeah, its Keith. He sings backup on most Stones song. This one, Torn and Frayed, Rocks Off, and Tumblin Dice are great examples of songs on Exile where his back up vocals really stand out. He compliments Jaggers vocals so well. Anyone else doing it just wouldn't sound live the Stones.

  • @goonchistaw Coincidentally, Keith plays Bass guitar on this track too. Wyman wasn't around at Nellcote when they cut the basic tracks for this per Exile Lore anyway.

  • @goonchistaw it's more like a duet than a backing vocal

  • @loserbabysowhydontyo no it is nothing like a duet a duet is a song sung in almost equal parts by the singers

richards is a flick knife backing vocal , higher in tone & key also just under jaggers lead vocal .

& why are you telling me ? i wrote that line over a year ago .

  • The Stones at their pinnacle.

  • Nasty, Sleazy, a celebration of Funkhouse Blues...

  • @axxellein Sooooo sloppy and yet sooo tight. The Stones were frigging brilliant.

  • This one, Rocks Off, and Ventilator Blues are three of the best tunes the Stones made.

  • IT'S THE STONEZ AIN'T IT?GORBLIMEY!

  • layer upon layer of dirty rock and roll grease.
