@homotorsports Don't blame ya. That would be insainely cool.. Just for fun, and you'd be interested, got an email from a 'tuber" the other day with race car photos. Most were Chevy's, but the one he loved the most was a photo of a powerslide on dirt in a Javelin.. Said he won the championship with that car... Not many people appreciate the AMC's the way they should. Glad you do.

this will break your heart Rpeek about a week ago i went to a local scrap yard to look for a wheel and tire and i found a 1957 ford two door wagon sitting in there with the roof cut off getting ready to get crushed. apparently it was for sale for the longest time and ended up getting crushed. besides for the roof getting cut off and being man handled with a fork lift it was in great shape i managed to get glass bowl off the carburetor. wish i could have got the pot metal around the tailights.

Rpeek, I had several 55-56 Fords. Look at where the lower controll arms attach in the very front frame member. Right behind the front bumper. They rust there and eventually colapse the suspension. I love the see-through spedo on these cars. They quit that in 56 and even went to 12V too.

I wish I still had my 65 galixie with 26k original miles and I was the 2nd owner... very rusty, sold it cause I couldn't weld and fabricate.. but now I can fabricate and weld anything I want.. tig, mig, stick, alum. mig..... :( sold it for 400 bucks.. so sad. ya live to learn huh?
