  • you need some shots of the mechanisms in the back. i don't really get how it works.

  • Good use of the gears!

  • it spins to fast

  • This video was featured on K'nex Innovation! Check out our front page to see your video!

  • thats awesome but kinda long to stare at a clock lol

  • wel if the fats one is the second hand (witch i think it is obviously) then it is TOO SLOW not to fast one revolution is about

  • 1 3/4 of a second. but still cool. for som reason it stoped typing in the middle of my comment , ignore it.

  • yup too fast

  • i think the clock is a little fast lol:P

  • now if it kept real time that would be cool but even tho it dont it still rocks

  • Ok so a couple of q's:

did you make an escapement? or just used the motor?

how did you get the correct gear ratios? Did knex have the right toothed gears?

  • that's pretty sweet!

  • YO THATS NUTS

  • Good memories. I once built a k'nex clock along the same principles that had gear reduction and the amazing part was it was only 4 seconds too fast, and that was as close as I could get.

  • i stopped the time and every (fast ) turn is +- 1,50 sconds but very nice :)

  • i Think everytime it does the full 360 turn that counts as a second

  • Slow it down about 45.5 times and it mabye would work. How did u get the gears right? 60-1 and then 60-1.

  • I made a mechanical grandfather clock that told time and the weight gave it about 4 hours of run time. I might make it again and post a video some time

  • Wow I made something like that, only its made to measure seconds

  • its not functional its like way too fast

  • even if it is too fast its still pretty cool

  • It's not too fast, the one that has an orange connector is the milliseconds, The one with the blue rod is secons, and the white connector is minutes

  • so it will actually show the correct time and keep the correct time?

  • Probably if the battery doesn't die and you turn it on just as it's the same time

  • i guess soo

  • wow how u do that post instructions

  • Alright...so this clock works and I am right next to the inventor. It looks pretty cool, but it's time to close the clock chapter and begin something fun---cars and motorcyles.

  • Time flys when your having fun:)
