Thnx man. I wish i was working with an sp 1200 though then i'd really be pumpin out them grimey 90s beats =]. If you want that early 90s sound you gotta use real drums, sample some old breaks. Basically every differnt sound you hear on this beat drums/sample/bassline is from a different sample and then just layered on top of each other. I havnt used the default FL studio drums in a loooong while lol same way you cut your samples start building your library of drums too.

Thanks. unfortunately right now i use nothing but software, fl studio being the most well known. I got nothing against software, its great but I prefer to really get in the groove and do my music live as opposed to pointing and clicking a mouse. i'll be on that mpc once i clear up a bunch of financial bs, cant wait
