I'm thinking Roran will be the next rider. It was hinting in Brisingr that he's, at the very least, going to gain the ability to use magic, so becoming a rider wouldn't be that far of a stretch past that, especially considering he and Eragon are blood-relatives. It may turn out that Roran has some other important part in the story just concerning his newfound magic, however, and I wouldn't be at all upset it Arya were to end up with the egg instead.

the reason murtagh is so powerful is because thorn has disgorged his eldunari and galbatorix has it and is feeding energy into thorn thus into murtagh which is why eragon didn't see anything on murtagh oh and roran will not become a rider the egg will become a wild dragon and will mate with Sapphira and save the dragons eragon will have to kill murtagh but he will be close to freeing him and in the end it will come down to galbatorix and eragon in the place where vrael was defeated i think lols

I think Eragon will become a Shade in Order to destroy Galbatorix. He overcomes the Evil spirits and will thus be invincible. And, surely Arya will not get the third egg, because of her already enormous skills. I think it might be Roran or Katrina.

it seems to me that everyone's forgotten the nest in the middle of the desert where dragons used to store there eldunari maybe they stored them in a vault (vault of souls) and could only be opened by name that united the dragons and elfs (eragon) and there could possible be a rock of kuthian there? Thats what i think Eldunari will be the title (i think) and Arya will be the next dragon rider (i hope) and Eragon will defeat Galbatorix using the Eldunari he finds in the vault of souls.

I'm Not 100% sure but i think Roran is going to be the next king- his leadership skills are remarkable and he is mortal- on top of that they continue in the book on how having a king that never dies is extremely inconvenient.

the 1st one is probably more acurate due to the books title being "empire" and i think that the final egg will hatch for arya due to the fact that saphira must mate as she is the last female dragon and as eragon loves arya the saphira may love the new dragon but i guess we will find out when the book is released

@Eragonrocks417 im fairly clueless on the matter, but im leaning towards Roran, because he repeatedly attempts magic, but fails, similar to how Eragon kept thinking "i need a sword!" and onley became a rider in full when Brisingr was forged. it would make an interesting juxtaposistion to see Roran acheive as well. it would also make sense in the context that Eragon, Murtagh and Roran, would all be related, espically seeing how Murtagh will clearly fight back at Galbatorix.
I really don't think the first green one is right, it looks like an edited version of the cover of Brisingr. They've done all the dragons on the other covers in different positions, they'd do the fourth in a new position too. But the second one doesn't have features anything like the other dragons in the books... maybe it's neither? I thought they'd either put a new dragon or Shruikan on the fourth...

The 4th one I'm guessing would be yellow, not green because of the 3 eggs and the 3 basic colors - blue, red, yellow. You're probably right about the title. The dragon, I have no clue. Isn't that Glaedr on the cover of Brisingr? I haven't read any of those for almost a year.

My guess: Arya is going to be new rider Christopher Paolini himself said he is trying to make Eragon and Arya equal so they can be together thats why she is a shadeslayer and the books name is most likely gonna be Eldunari and Eragons mom Selena is still alive and my guess is that murtagh is going to die.
I think that's most likely because, if you remember in the first book, eragon has a dream about and elf woman and a elf man (which i'm guessing is actually arya and eragon, since eragon has pointy ears now) near a boat on the beach (since eragon is leaving alagaesia 4ever) with two dragons in the sky (obviously saphira and greenie, cause who else would it be?)

the 1st one is probably more acurate due to the books title being "empire" and i think that the final egg will hatch for arya due to the fact that saphira must mate as she is the last female dragon and as eragon loves arya the saphira may love the new dragon but i guess we will find out when the book is released

@Viddharto yeah i think the final book will end up with the dwarves being in the "blood pact" with the dragons, elves and humans but tbh i dont think orik will be the next rider i think islanzadi will die and her daughter, arya will get the new dragon. i aso think that the reason eragon is named after the 1st rider is due to the fact of his origins maybe starting from eragon himself (the 1st rider) and i think that what solembum said in the 1st book bout the vault of souls will give saphira...

@Eragonrocks417 i disagee, i do not see how "becoming more like Eragon" implys that Arya will become a rider, more than anything i feel it idicates that Arya is forming a closer relathionship with Eragon, because they slew the shade together. i think it is unlikly Arya will claim the last dragon.

@Eragonrocks417 im fairly clueless on the matter, but im leaning towards Roran, because he repeatedly attempts magic, but fails, similar to how Eragon kept thinking "i need a sword!" and onley became a rider in full when Brisingr was forged. it would make an interesting juxtaposistion to see Roran acheive as well. it would also make sense in the context that Eragon, Murtagh and Roran, would all be related, espically seeing how Murtagh will clearly fight back at Galbatorix.

I really don't think the first green one is right, it looks like an edited version of the cover of Brisingr. They've done all the dragons on the other covers in different positions, they'd do the fourth in a new position too. But the second one doesn't have features anything like the other dragons in the books... maybe it's neither? I thought they'd either put a new dragon or Shruikan on the fourth...
I wish Arya could be the next Rider... enough humans. >:U

The 4th one I'm guessing would be yellow, not green because of the 3 eggs and the 3 basic colors - blue, red, yellow. You're probably right about the title. The dragon, I have no clue. Isn't that Glaedr on the cover of Brisingr? I haven't read any of those for almost a year.

Empire. Each book is titled something that relates to Eragon's inheritance - hence the title Inheriance Cycle.

My guess: Arya is going to be new rider Christopher Paolini himself said he is trying to make Eragon and Arya equal so they can be together thats why she is a shadeslayer and the books name is most likely gonna be Eldunari and Eragons mom Selena is still alive and my guess is that murtagh is going to die.

I think that's most likely because, if you remember in the first book, eragon has a dream about and elf woman and a elf man (which i'm guessing is actually arya and eragon, since eragon has pointy ears now) near a boat on the beach (since eragon is leaving alagaesia 4ever) with two dragons in the sky (obviously saphira and greenie, cause who else would it be?)
