Tessa is so right. You are obviously not at all experienced with harness.You are very lucky you have not had a runnaway or ruined one of your ponies. Your ponies obviously have great temperments which is a credit to your breeding plan but PLEASE get some help with the harness breaking. I am sure there must be a harness club near you that would be happy to help you. Many of them hold regular instruction days and this would be a great help to you. Good luck.
I totally agree with TeesaRosa and blackbetsy59. Get some lessons and someone to show you how the harness should fit before you continue on driving.
