  • @roseism Radiosurgery usually refers to a single fraction treatment. Radiotherapy refers to multiple fraction treatments. Gamma Knife is a precise, powerful stereotactic radiation treatment utilizing fixation with a titanium frame to generate the coordinates of exact location requiring treatment. Radiotherapy is usually IMRT or external beam radiation. The radiosurgery treatment is individualized based on patients' diagnosis & treatment plans so the amount of time in the treatment room varies.
