  • come on- all of the buttons are working mechanically. looks nice but it could be nothing but a fake

  • maestro!

  • rockin the 8 bit bro. sweet!

  • cant be used for music? you're telling me all you people making this comment are into looking up videos of these types of custom synths, but have never heard of electro or techno music? come on

  • ???? eeee è il vecchio commodore cassette C64 ?? come hai fatto ?

  • well thats true stuff :D VSTs are for naps like me xD

  • interesting, press play on tape lol

  • I've been looking through a lot of these home made instruments and so on.. the main thing they have in common is that they look great but couldn't be used for any music whatsoever.

  • @Rogg567 you dumb or something?

  • @MsBirdylady No :P Just give me an example of what you could use this for. I'm not knocking it. It's obviously well made and sounds cool but what would you use it for?

  • @Rogg567 For fun.

  • @nonseans Fair enough. I see what you mean. :)

  • nice

  • It's very sick!!!! :D

  • thats some hardcore commodore. Awesome!

  • wtf

  • great!

  • Long live c=64

  • @DemoScener I'm guessing here, but may be the creator just wanted a challenge or to just be original. Stand alone SID based synths and SID based Sound Cards have already been thought of, howevr this is something thats new to me.

  • nice idea to build it in a datasette case

  • I made a little presentation using my MSSIAH, a homage to two '80s pop culture greats.

Paste title into the bar: QUINCY 64!

  • hah and the cool thing about the sid was no two were identical!

  • This is so awesome, words cannot describe.

  • @alphawolf260 but you described it as awesome, im pretty sure awesome is a word.

  • yes, only a datasette. you only need a little dsplay, some knobs and some cables to make sounds of it ;) come on, its used as a case for this cool stuff!

  • that's JUST a datassette?

  • this is amazing mate, love the sound from it too. did you make it ?

  • I love the warmth that comes from the SID chip sound.

If I still had my c64 I would start makin' tunes on it.

I hear there are DAWs available for it.

I am getting bored of Logic.

    Nice work. Cool video.

    =)

  • amazinnnn
