  • I live in Lisbon (On the district) and I never knew about that º-º

  • wooooo

  • Oh, thank you for translating the Japanese top comments. I still have no idea whatsoever of what they are talking about though.

  • It is said in Japan and does not have 200-year-old, my grandfather's house

    More than 200-year-old (Niigata).

Gap difference between the old days, so many plants that stand without any nails, and now houses

Wood does not rot even better ventilation.

In the country're the gate of more than 100-year-old house I pretty well in Japan.

Amazing amazing, but also residents who live here do not demolished this apartment.

  • You:fuck why i need to take in this moment a shower D:

  • Annoying BGM

  • Mini 9/11 ;(

  • MY LEG!!!!

  • the dust clod reminds me of 911

  • Is it just me or did the building look like it was falling apart before hand? How was it a surprise? and WTF was that at 00:39? I imagine most buildings crumble to legs like that walking by...

  • When a historical or very old building falls people cry.

When a modern building falls people just rebuild it without a care in the world.

When a McDonalds falls people watch for a few seconds and then go back to playing Angry Birds with a bigger smile than before.

  • what i dont understand is why didnt they knock down the building beforehand to not risk endangering peoples lives? either way it was an accident waiting to happen.

  • @inodesukedo0123

    fuck your fucking bushes!

  • Hats off to the camera man!

  • @elstandfield In Japan, says it has no built 200 years, my grandfather's house

Built more than 200 years (Niigata).

Old trees that stand without any nails, there are many gaps and differences between homes today

Rotten wood is also well ventilated.

The country I'm in Japan for quite some Nantes Mon homes for over 100 years old.

  • @elstandfield Also amazing how people can live here 取Ri壊Sanai this apartment is amazing.

  • Cheira Bem, Cheira A Lisboa!

  • Now, I'm all for protecting historic buildings, but when they get to this stage, I think it's vital that they are rebuilt before the damage goes this far.

  • 1:42 AWESOME!!!!!!

  • OMG they were sucking in dust from a decaying building ewww O_e

  • Don't just stand there and watch it...RUN!!!!

  • I live in Portugal, I saw this live.

  • huh?

I just typed in a load of random letter, bet you didn't know that :P

  • Almost like the Thuderbirds are Go! movieshow.

  • how does discovery ever catch these moments?

  • go away weird letters

  • Foreign people run. Americans would stay and take pics. ;)

  • @skullerx yes,sure lets do this way

"Look an car spinning out of controll!"

    *SMASH*

"OH MY GOD ARE YOU OK?

    *Szzzrrr*

    "HOLY-"

    *SMASH*

    *DEAD*

    The End.

  • @inodesukedo0123 i couldn't agree more.

  • @inodesukedo0123 Just remember, that the gravitation is 6 times less on the moon

  • Oh my god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Can't believe people live in such weak building.

  • another 911

  • It is unbelievable. When it is not an earthquake of M8 and M9, a collapse accident does not occur in Japan.

  • will it blend?

  • Absolutely unbelievable that the building would fall. Incomprehensible. It was only 200 years old and had clearly been restored and maintained so well.

  • I just saw 1 minute of this video, and I am not quite through. Before I am looking at the rest I just gotta say: Who the hell would stand that close to a building when you KNOW it is decaying in such a matter? If it falls forward you die MOST certainly...

...well. No surprise there. Lucky then it collapsed downwards!

  • those buildings were patched with chewing gum and stone, good builders i recommend cheap as well

  • I love how everyone stayed on the street instead of going into their house, and now there's some pussies crying about it. -.-

  • save time. skip to 1:06

  • Is it just me or did the demolition crew arrive juuuust a tad late?

  • The Japanese guy did it. I saw him go back for the detonator.

  • looooool the guy at 1.06 went for a shit hahaha but unfortunately it was too late loooooooooo hahaha

  • That'd been awesome if there was a guy sittin in his room watchin porn when this happened.

  • @JSSTyger HOLY SHIT I WAS THINKING THAT XD

  • 1:38

Ooohh Gawd...I lived in that shit hole!! sob sob...

  • Somebody shoulda called the Orkin man.

  • Would like to see a special about World Trade Center Building 7. It collapsed in 6.5 seconds... without any erosion but by normal office fire, according NIST.

  • Apparently people in Portugal point all the time for no reason.

  • "fleeing crowds can't outrun the dust cloud" i have an idea...when a building looks like it might collapse its a good idea to get away from the surrounding area so you don't have to run from the dust cloud when it eventually does collapse

  • um i think i left my child inside can i go check now?

  • And after all the chaos is over, a man with a sledgehammer walks by and says: Sup.. :D

  • how old was this building?

  • @stevencheng1988 200 years old. Please read the damn description. :p

  • Ok, so WHY would ANYONE, go into a building that looks like the CRAPPIEST building on Earth?!? Of course it's going to collapse, crazy people.

  • @RandomDominoGuy they dont have any home to stay

  • 1:40 LOL I love watching people running for their lives backwards

  • LOL @ "mysterious form of erosion". Anyone with half a brain could tell that neglected piece of crap was going to collapse. The only odd thing was that these weird people somehow felt safe enough to live there. Shocking judgment.

  • Chuck norris sneezes

  • Was the woman at 1.14 screaming at the collapse itself or at the hideous lime green colour on the internal wall that the collapse revealed?

  • 0:39 distracted me away from the building.

  • Hella moldy

  • Did that guy survive at 1:05 ?

  • @TheNeXTStorm Yes he did! He was in the adjacent block, not the one that fell!

  • @TheNeXTStorm Watch the whole video, dumbass.

  • @TheNeXTStorm

i think he was in the building beside it. if you look clearly he is on the second floor on the left side.

  • @TheNeXTStorm Look closely at the windo there are some red tower thingy, and from the front veiw -> that guy was on the left side, and that side didn't collapse

  • @TheNeXTStorm I think too.

  • "mysterious type of erosion...." I'll tell you what it is! Its a 200 year old building that had not been renovated or modernized aside from paint by the looks of it! Give me a break!

Good thing no one was hurt!

  • May I put my Justin Bieber CD's in there!

  • No wonder all the buildings are collapsing look at all the fat people there!!!

  • @spasmaticcontortion Haha! If I had one. :P

  • I would have got in my car when the dust cloud came- if I had time that is!

  • Comment removed

  • the poor people who lived there :(

  • That guy in white shirt at 1:10 was like screw this!

  • 0:39 WTF?!?!

  • Poor House.

  • Just thank God no one was killed or hurt. Shld have set up a cordon arnd it or smth.

  • Looking at the fabric of it before and after the collapse it appears to have been a cheap and shoddy build in the first instance. It needs completely demolishing and a fresh start.

  • White security shutter on 1st floor holds that building

  • whats so mysterious about erosion?

  • Happy how a collapse.

  • The most terrifying event is when the dust cloud appears. It probably spread several streets across the town, but it's not that dangerous, unless if you have problems with dust.

  • @Shirozarusama ...or unless the dust is full of asbestos, ALL dust is harmful in any quantity, stone dust never goes away in the lungs and causes damage- silicosis

  • Dont know now , Must i say thumbs up for the upload or thumbs down i dont like to see this happen ?

I will give a thumbs up for the uploader ..

  • True, Portugese Police seemed bit careless and incompitant

  • how funny would it be if the half of the building collapsed and u just see a bunch of people having sex

  • how funny would it be if the half of the building collapsed and u just see two people having sex

  • @andyalin or a guy and a sheep!

  • @FurrtherMoor TRUEEEEEEE :) hahaa

  • That fireman put on his mask LIKE A BOSS!

  • No wonder if collapsed, it was 200 fucking years old

  • nuthing a bit of duct tape cant fix :)

  • lmao why not put the cordon inside the building, next time it will be much safer the cordons like 2 feet away from the building

  • look @ the bright side... Atleast u can get the rest of your clothes now.
