I tryed to do the maths on how much it ld take you to go from one point to the oposite on the largest star on this video, and i found that i ld take about 624 years if we used the planes we use these days ofc. Interesting fact.

@31186119 Well Canis Majoris is about 4,900 lightyears (46,357,579,315,645,920 Km.) away from Earth. A lightyear is the distance light can travel in one earth year. That would be 186000 mi/second. A space shuttle has to go 25,000 MPH to escape orbit, so it takes 784,391 years for a space shuttle to reach our sun. So long story short it would take about 185,430,317,262.5836 years to get there :P . Note that this was a complicated math proble, and I probably messed up along the way

If the sun was bigger it would not burn for long enough for life to evolve even far out where its light would be less than lethal. Huge stars die young. But they also create the heavier elements which are needed for rocky planets. And life.

Life needs huge stars for the heavy elements and later on smaller stars for stable planetary systems and long periods of relative stability.
