Yeah I agree with fishmarc, you should start a petition & get more people aware of this situation. It is going to be difficult as less people in your area (Singapore) treat and look at animals the same way others from, let's say, the US, does. Try and educate others on how this act is wrong. Next I would talk to friendsa and start a petittion to your local lawmakers that you won't tolerate animal abuse there anymore. Try to get people to boycott this store by protestng outside it and telling eveone who enters. That's about all I can think of because of the lack of animal protection and laws there.

Unfortunately animal cruelty laws are so slack around the world that calling the police (as some here suggest) will do nothing. I doubt that it's illegal to slap a dog in Singapore, or London or Toronto. You must organize in your communities and petition your governments to strengthen cruelty laws.
ok one thing you can do is got to your local authorities (police) or to your local animal shelter/recue center and tell them exactly what happened. give a description of the guy and, if possible, maybe draw him for their refference. if they take no action or just wave it off, KEEP TRYING! you cant let this monster get away without consequences. who knows how many animals he will hurt if you don't stop him. i would love to help more but i live in australia. hope this helps!

I saw this on the news. It say baby golden retreiver abused by pet shop helpers. Athorities say the dog urinated on the helpers shirt and she grabbed the dog by the neck and cuffed it on the stomache. Poor dog. :[ search it up
Because people still haven't learnt that dogs (and other animals) are not toys. Showing dogs in glass tanks, or cages should be forbidden. Having workers that know nothing about animals should be forbidden.

Unfortunately animal cruelty laws are so slack around the world that calling the police (as some here suggest) will do nothing. I doubt that it's illegal to slap a dog in Singapore, or London or Toronto. You must organize in your communities and petition your governments to strengthen cruelty laws.

ok one thing you can do is got to your local authorities (police) or to your local animal shelter/recue center and tell them exactly what happened. give a description of the guy and, if possible, maybe draw him for their refference. if they take no action or just wave it off, KEEP TRYING! you cant let this monster get away without consequences. who knows how many animals he will hurt if you don't stop him. i would love to help more but i live in australia. hope this helps!

Because people still haven't learnt that dogs (and other animals) are not toys. Showing dogs in glass tanks, or cages should be forbidden. Having workers that know nothing about animals should be forbidden.
But, if those things still happen in Europe and USA, how are they not going to happen in less evolved countries?

If people stoped buiying from petshopps, puppy mills would stop thriving and shit like this wouldn't happen. Please, get a dog from a shelter. No reputable breeder would sell their dogs to a pet shop and this video [mainly the description] prooves that. 30 percent of all dogs at shelters are pure bred with papers and mutts are better anyway!
