Estonia has no troops deployed in Iraq. Estonian forces in afghanistan are there according to UN mandate. Main function is to protect civilians and keep order - also try to secure weapons and keep insurgents (usually taliban fighters from pakistan) away.
in my opinion- the way how russia wages war (more brutal) is more efficient against insurgents, but its inhumain. just like the way you have killed tens of thousands chechen civilians.... you should be really quiet.
one reason why some russians doesnt like estonians is that estonian consider Stalin a war criminal and on the same lvl as Hitler. And ofcourse estonians have reason to hate russians. What have russians given to estonians 50 years of foreign occupation including economical and technological stagnation + things like deportations, NKVD and KGB warcrimes against civilian population.
