  • Great Videos! Love this idea, im making glove at the moment just with a flex sensor though, trying to control a servo to control the throttle on my 125cc toolbox (a toolbox with and engine and wheels that you can sit on and ride.. A go kart toolbox) hoping to controll maybe a few more things like clutch and brake when iv got the throttle sorted!

  • Dude, respect! I'm a little bit of a science nerd but not enough think up or do something like that!

  • wao sweet mate respect!

i'm checkin out your arduino series right now they are really great

keep up the awesome vids you are a better teacher than most of my professors!

  • Also, I saw this on tv when it aired and I was like "OMG, it's that guy from youtube!" Also, my teacher showed this in my science class also. So, yeah, keep up the awesome work. Also, when you were talking about the root (no pun intended) or the word, did you forget to mention that sudo is temporary or do I not understand, because I thought sudo meant to get super user until your session had ended, eg: when you restart/shut down the computer.

  • @Zestypanda Yes, I didn't take the meaning that far... Let's just assume that I have an infinite session length ;)

  • @sciguy14 That would be awesome.... :O Mwuahahah.

  • Awesome, I have been following your videos for years, I lost your channel but just recently re-found it. :P Also, is it my computer (core i-7 3ghz 6gb ram) or did you get a semi laggy rip of the clip?

  • @Zestypanda It's a bit laggy... sorry about that.

  • Good job Jeremy

  • I tip my hat to you sir.

  • Can help giggling like an idiot, in Australia we have a brothel called the Daily Planet.

  • @AntiProtonBoy hahahaha awesome.

  • On your way to the TOP ! Well done! but keep on rockin.... there is still work to do :) HAVE PHUN!!

  • Keep making, Jeremy!

  • N I C E

  • Awesome! Congrats to you for getting some really cool publicity.

  • Great job Jeremy! I saw this when you had made it last year.? Been following your progress since UC.net

  • well done keep up the great work looks like you are having fun to.I might see you on the UK gadget show soon.

  • "Ah faster downhill tho" you could be onto something there.

  • @tuberlook1 I'm doing Science!

  • Youre brilliant dude.

  • Thats why we didnt saw any arduino tutorials lately :P

  • Well done. Would be interesting for it to extend up the arm.. so you could have 3 extra joints (wrist elbow shoulder) that could give you roughly 2-4 more commands. Do you think you're going to keep it as a glove? Or will it maybe grow up the arm a lil?

  • @Manifest222 We'll see. I've had plans for a second prototype for over a year, but haven't had the time to implement it yet.

  • @sciguy14 Interesting. I'm very very interested in this kind of stuff. Where are you going to college? Or have you already finished?

  • Witchcraft !!! Seriously, that's brilliant, well done and kudos for the TV appearance :)

  • Dude, you're a genius, especially since you're an Ivy. Congrats on the TV appearance man!

  • Can I use it to apt-get update? :)

I saw this on Discovery in Australia a couple of weeks ago too, was totally stoked to see you on there. Keep it up man, I can see this kind of thing being used in the medical field.

  • @jimmyjampola Cool! I didn't know they were syndicating it!

  • cool, this is all about the idea, if some one given me the idea the implementation part was easy to me but idea is important

  • Cool Jeremy!! Great Job!! I have been watching your videos for sometime and I am glad to see you get some recognition for your work! Good luck in school and future projects!

  • @sciguy14 ignore the troll, i can see this technology with great potential in the medical field, like performing surgery remotely and for rehab

  • that is amazing if we talk about the concept! Im student too ...electronic enginner so Im feel inspired thanks !.

  • Good on ya mate! It's my stuff! ;)

  • wow I didn't even know you did that. That's amazing. Did you do this for one of your engineering courses or was this just something you did for fun?

  • @downscreen129103 Started out as a class project 2 years ago, but I've been building on the system since then.

  • Keep going bro, screw the haters!

  • @Crazyyn00b How about considering amputees, disabled individuals, and artists? The car is a proof of concept. This technology can be used to control prosthetic devices, drive an electric wheel chair, or create new kinds of performance art.
