@zukaang12 This is the Academy-Minicraft. Check out the more recent videos on our Channel Page for much better videos of Titanic sinkings, including some splitting videos and how-to tutorials.
DUDE! THAT'S AN $80 MODEL. WHY WOULD YOU DO SUCH A THING!?
Also, I'm surprised how controlled that was. There are things that could have been better, but I understand you didn't wanna completely wreck the model. And if you did I would have had to e-smack you for destroying such a beautiful model.
i had this and its supposed to sink just like the real one- if you undo the lock on the bottom it goes halfway under- then snaps in half- then the back slowly sinks..... then you can hear Rose crying as she releases Jacks life jacket
@smeagle9999 I know the model you're talking about - very rare these days - they sell for a pretty penny on eBay. This model is not that one; it's much larger (30" instead of 18") and was custom-built to sink by me, with scratchbuilt bulkheads and compartments.
@MyRockingboy This is a custom-modified model. They're not available for sale, if you mean a genuine sinking one - you need to do the modifications yourself. This is an Academy-Minicraft model kit.
@smeagle9999 Thats pretty insensitive. Why do people treat the Titanic as if it some kind novelty? Does anybody realize many many people died horribly and in fear, screaming for their lives?
Your camera only takes 15 second videos? Then what about your videos Model Titanic Sinks with 1,016,145 views. That video is 45 seconds. And your Model Titanic sinks in 15 seconds video with 1,082,460 views. That video is 17 seconds. Not that it matters.
@MalaFiumanka I designed the model's modifications inside so it would sink this way. I didn't stop it with my hands or anything else; it sinks because it floods like the Titanic did.
@Rapidnadion liar... <_< how come your cam only inches on waters without any muscle cramp. its because your are on the water(your body) untill half of the ship underwater. your hand pull it slowly so it will make it sink slower.
@chimoy1 Hey champ - before you call us out on fraudulent sinkings you should maybe watch our other videos showing the ship in full frame, sinking due to design. There's no "hand pulling it slowly" here, broseph.
@chimoy1 I can personally vouch for Rapidnadion here as I've done the same thing with a 1:400 Titanic and I can guarantee you there is no need for "hands."
cool, i have a rc titanic in 1/325 with light, i like it so much. i hope, i can dtive it on the march, but the lakes are froze. I make a viedeo from it. i mail you the link, wehn i have finish the viedeo.
it is probably not tied to a string. because it would still sink like a real ship would. it sunk so fast because the water got in the portholes on the sides. and the real ship is big, but the model is small.
Omg he likes sinking model titanics, its cool, dont go "oh yeh its not real" because its not ment to be real noobs ^^ and do you keep retreiving them? or do you buy another jw
You are kidding..... right? U don't actually think that this is footage of the REAL titanic sinking in just 15 seconds, in a pond, with a peir, and houses, and trees. U think that 1500 people froze to death....in a pond? And also, video cameras never existed in 1912.
Well, yes, I suppose. Kind of like the one you see in the film titanic by james cameron. I think it's a deleted scene. Rose walks over to a man with a crank video camera and poses for him. :-)
Very nicely done! I built a 1/350 scale Titanic a while ago with watertight compartments and it sank similarly. However, when testing it for the first time, I learned quickly that the bulkheads needed to be raised to almost the bot deck level to keep the ship from skining like a rock and with no lifting of the stern. Interesting how the dynamics of the sinking are very similar in scale, though we can't break the ship apart the same way. Thank you for sharing.
Of all the vids you posted, this one is the most real looking and true to the real theory, the only thing missing, of course, is the break up of the stern and everything about 3/4 forward of the 4th stack
yeah i heard about that maybe one of the comparments burst with air escaping, causing it to split. pushing the bow section 2 miles forward from the wreck!
in 1997 they used sonar to find the holes that sank it >_<
