@frankthetank789 Looks like a 36 year old to me. How old do you think a 36 year old looks?? Many people only gain some weight from 17 to 36 and hair texture changes a little and may thin out and some slight wrinkles. Which is exactly what they did with DR, They age him very slightly for this scene. Combed his hair to the side, a little bit of facial weight etc. Anymore would have been overkill. I know many early 40 somethings that can still pass for early to mid 20's.

When I said, "Not 40", I meant that in the "not to look as though they're 40 years older" sense. It was meant as a joke. I'm a fan of both the books and the films. I'm not trashing it in any way. I just commented because I'd heard that they had to re-film the scene because the make-up made them look older than they were supposed to be, and I was agreeing. No harm intended.

they did reshoot it for two main reasons, one being the shooting at the train station was too rushed and second they make up made the actors look way too old then they should be.

They said they did the reshoot for the makeup too..the fans were complaining about it. I was shocked..hope I don't look that bad in my late 30s. Plus it was a closed set, so many pics got out of the first epilogue shoot.
