Michael is right. Religious orders are filled with liberals. I always believed that nuns belong in a habit. The nuns that wear pants/shorts and a T-Shit are the ones everyone should be careful of. Today's girls want to join orthodox religious orders that are very conservative and wear the habit. Thank God the short wearing feminist nuns are dying out. I heard in India the catholic religious wear hindu clothes and have hindu names. They also incorporate hindu rituals in mass. Shame on them.
Nunneries have been centres of light in Christendom for CENTURIES. All over Europe, nunneries and monasteries were centres of education, prayer, conemplation, and dedication to Christ. This video has shocked me-i had no idea nuns were behaving like this in the USA.
Bravo lentenlands! Mary warned at Fatima that ""comunism and socialism" are our greatest enemies that are facing society today. Sexual promiscuousness has infiltrated so-called childrens shows that most of todays children are being raised pagans.Have a good look at the state of the world currently. Have a good look who attends Mass today. It is mostly old people and a few devout families but for the most part it seems as if "the falling away" (apostacy) has already occured. God help us.
All Christians are under marxist assault, all cultural institutions are crumbling from the insidiousness of cultural marxism, critical thinking and the lies of the Frankfurt School. The patriarchal family has practically been destroyed, the sexual revolution has sold the lie of indulgence and permissiveness at a poisonous cost. This was entirely engineered by evil marxists such as Gramsci and Marcuse. Our politicians are mostly marxists now, especially in America.
Michael, you've really hit this hard that your video is going around the blogospere to other Catholic conservative blogs. It appeared on So Con or Bust (Canadian) and Fr Z's "What does the prayer really say" (WTDPRS). Seems like most people agree.
seems that the "devil" so to speak has been invading the church since the beginning of the church (i.e. Judas/Satan were among the Apostles) it's unbelievable yet true.
Amen!!! Even more reasons to continue watching these videos! Just warn me next time to wear my helmet so I won't feel the rocks too rough hahaha God Bless RCTV!
I for one plan in the New Year to offer a monthly Mass for Religious Sisters, Nuns and Brothers. I would certainly encourage everyone watching this video to also offer prayers and, if possible, a Mass for these Religious. We also have our responsibility to pray for them and certainly to admonish and correct.
This Vortex was awesome!!! God bless you for all your work. After this episode how could I not go on over to your website and click that "premium member" button. You rock!
@nutellaontoast Well, actually - the Bible DOES teach that righteous anger directed at evil is a good thing. However, these nuns are angry for unrighteous reasons.
@RealCatholicTV happened to see your video through Damian Thompson of the English Newspaper the Telegraph. Your video is on his blog and its getting a lot of coverage!!!!
In my parish last year, we received two wonderful sisters from east Africa. Their happiness with their vocations literally overflows from them as they work with our children. They teach what the Church believes, and on their first day here, received a constant stream of gratitude from parishioners because they wore habits. There is another "nun" here too. She does not wear a habit, is not called "Sister," and lives with another woman. Thankfully, she no longer works in our parish.
Satan is attacking the Catholic Church through pedophile priests. Therefore, it is no surprise that Satan is using radical leftwing Femi-Nazis to do the same with the women's religious orders. If all the perpetrators on both sides were rounded up and excommunicated, few would be left standing, with good clerics and nuns quitting. De-fund corrupt institutions, leaving them to wither away is the best medicine.
Amen Michael! He's exactly right...I attest to this from my own numerous experiences with these feminist "nuns". They have and continue to destroy all true remnants of our Catholic teaching and beliefs!
This is the problem with the whole Catholic Church: Perverts stay in place, nuns and priests who are not faithful Catholics stay in place, Cardinal and Bishops who undermine the faith stay in place. Nothing is ever done to these idiots and then everyone wonders why the Church seems to be in the state it is. Discipline needs to be exerted to bring these people into line. Not to do so is not love just like letting a child run wild is not love. Loving parents discipline their children.
Michael, I commend you for the job you are doing in defending the faith. I pray to God that He may give yopu the strength to continue this type of work. I also wanted to ask you if you have ever considered making the Vortex with Spanish subtitles? I have translated the script for a friend who only speaks Spanish, and she loves what you say.
Archbishop Tobin was recently brought on board in this visitation process. I hate to say it but as we used to say in Chicago politics.... the fix is in. Nothing will come of this visitation/investigation. Someone wanted it quashed and brought in Abp Tobin to do the job.
These nuns have a lot to answer for. I feel the Pope and the Bishops do as well. Why have these women been allowed to ruin the hearts and minds of so many? Why have they been allowed to call themselves Catholic when all they do is distort the Truth of our religion? These pagan "nuns" are truly enemies within. Shouldn't they all have been shut down/excommunicated DECADES ago? I weep for all those who have been led away from the Truth of Jesus Christ by these angry egomaniacs.
I'm willing to acknowledge it. And go to Confession for wishing I could acknowledge even MORE pain for those people. They are promotting abortion under cover of the so-called "Rachel Project". They should all simply be excommunicated.
@DeniseMatteau The reason I ask is because Fr. Frank Pavone, Priests for Life, Deacons for Life, 40 Days for Life and EWTN are all at the forefront of the pro-life movement and promote Rachel's Vineyard. If you are saying that Rachel's Vineyard is promoting abortion "under cover" then I would assume all of these other groups are too. If that is so I'd like to know.
@RealCatholicTV I agree, Fr. Frank is one of my heroes in the pro life movement. That's why I'm confused by @DeniseMatteau 's comment, and I was hoping she would clarify.
From convent to coven. A high school religion teacher, a Dominican priest, once told our class that feminism may be the anti-christ. This was '76-'77.
Is there a way which the public can know which orders are being investigated? And possibly the results?
I'm in the process of discerning which order I'm being called to. Some orders I've been looking at are black and white, but many are in a gray area. It's difficult sometimes to tell if they are truly trustworthy or just putting up a front to "recruit" young ladies.
@Serikiyo May God bless you for being open to His call. Here are some absolute criteria to narrow your search. Only look at religious communities who all live in community, who all wear identifiable habits, who have a strong daily community and private prayer life, who always live under a superior and lastly profess and carry out a diligent love of and support for the Holy Father and the teaching authority of the church. Your potential community must have ALL of these criteria.
@Serikiyo For you and anyone discerning religious life, I highly recommend reading "Sisters in Crisis: The Tragic Unraveling of Women's Religious Communities" by Ann Carey. It is an excellent tool to help gain some background of what went wrong post Vatican II. It explains the tactics, efforts, and goals of rebel sisters/nuns and sheds light on the persecution that faithful religious have undergone. If you plan to enter religious life, you should be informed and must keep your eyes wide open.
Because no Catholic would join these evil orders for the last 40 years, Catholic schools are now almost entirely void of nuns. Catholic education is now in the hands of teachers whose college training comes directly from our government education system.
This is an outstanding video, Mr. Voris. I must be caught in a time warp because the nuns I remember are the quiet nuns who taught myself and others at the parochial school I attended in the 1970s, St. Dominic School. I will pray a rosary as well for the traditional nuns who respect and embrace their vocation. God Bless.
Mr. Voris, you really stepped it up a notch today. Your commentary was spot on. Every time I think of a nun, I unfortunately think of the nuns that volunteer as escorts at abortion clinics and "Sr." Keehan, the nun made famous for supporting Obama's health care.
I'll pray a rosary tonight for the real nuns that are fulfilling their vocation.
So basically they are new age hippie radical feminists without habits. Good thing nowadays most of em don't wear the habits. I would be royally cheezed off if I saw a nun with an actual hapit spouting this nonsenze. "Femi-nazi" nuns. You said it perfectly Michael Voris. Dead on with this one.
@Roddyoneeye Good comment. I also would like to know who the messed up orders are. I get many requests from various nuns for donations, and I do not know who to give to, or who not to give to.
It is my opinion, that, any convent that strays from Catholic teaching should be cut off and the nuns excommunicated.
@tailspin37 Check out the orders' websites. You will find mission statements, pics of the nuns, info as to the "work" they're involved in. Many of these sites spew blatant new age garbage, social justice and save the Earth mantras. It's often difficult to find the name of Jesus - and if you do, His message is often distorted. Thorough research must be done, b/c some are more clever at appearing "orthodox". And some like to wheel out the old, faithful nuns in habits to gain sympathy and $.
