well anyone who would even think that is just ridiculous, they're one of the only really superb bands keepin this genre alive, and yes of course the 80's was thrash heaven but then what they eventually retire and a new breed has to come in and play, and trivium is from that breed, they're and old school metal band who just happened to start in the new millenium
