Thanks for listening to my philosophy it's not often one has a forum to share such things with people, and it means a lot to me that people out there like it.
Mike, I think this may be your best video yet. I adore your outlook, and I hope you are able to spread it to everyone you meet. Thanks for making my day just a little bit better. :)
Thank you Jess, as I just said to Zoe, I came out of this video thinking no one would like it, but then you reminded me that we here at NFI have a great family, you included and things like this that are true to heart do matter to people. Thank You for listening and sharing the joy. <3 yuh lot's.
man oh man mike, this might be my favorite nfi video yet. I love your philosophy, and I think you inspired me to make a video on a similar theam... we shall see~
Im very glad a misterious someone is making your life a beautiful thing!
Thanks Zoe, that means a lot to me, because I came out of making this video thinking that no one would like it, but you have proved me otherwise. And BTW, please make a video if you have time, actually make one even if you don't have the time, I love your videos, they make me smile so much.
Thanks, I figure in sharing said philosophy, others might at least think about it and if people all started to be proactive rather than reactive, the world would be an entirely different place.
Mike, your "joie de vivre" is very contagious, and I am ever so thankful that I got to know you. Your life philosophy reminds me of an arab proverb I am particularly fond of, which goes more or less like this: "When you have a problem and you can solve it, why do you worry? And if you can't solve it, why do you worry?"
My question for you is are you really happy or do you secretly think that your attempt to focus on positive things is more denial and bs then anything. Like maybe you're just trying to ignore the bad things by lying to yourself.
That probably sounds really negative and maybe insulting but I would REALLY appreciate an honest answer from you. I'm not trying to be rude or insulting.
No, I think it's a fair question, it would be a shame if I did ignore the bad. I think I focus on the positive, but additionally I grow from the negatives, thus turning them into positives. I acknowledge that bad things do happen, but I don't completely ignore them; growing from them is important. I base a lot of my life on the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teen, and the first habit is Being Proactive, that's what it all about, how you react to things, good and bad.
