if you get the nds lite u can play any game including gba ones but the dsi cant play orginal gba games, it can store music, go on the web etc though and only play nds games...hope i helped a bit

I just bought a DS Lite. I love it so far.  I was waiting for the DSi to come out here in the states but then I found it the battery life on it is much less than the DS Lite and I didn't feel the need for the camera the DSi has so I bought a metallic silver ds lite and the first game I bought for it is Mahjong Quest.Expiditions..... but the main reason I bought the DS Lite is for the new Puzzle Quest: Galactrix game coming out in a few days. Can't wait for that. Love my DS Lite!!

i use to have one and charge it every night but it eally doesnt last long unless you dont play it often you might not beleive this but when it comes to games i get fully tempered and get mad if i lose so one day i lost and i got the two screens with each hand bend it and it broke i know im dumb and stupid.

Nope, it doesn't. The slot is for Game Boy Advance games only - even the manual states that the DS doesn't play Game Boy color or Game Boy games.

And I just checked: game boy games don't even fit in there (to avoid having users get any stupid ideas to actually try and run old GB games)
