Wendy rarely made money on the festival. It was a struggle for him to brake even, and often he would even lose money, but he loved doing it. Whenever he tried to raise ticket prices though, people complained or stopped coming all together, despite the fact that it was by far the least expensive festival of it's type and size.
i know he rarely made money...but, there are plenty of bands that would chomp at the bit to get on a stage, to resort to a johnny cash wanna be..bluegrass, thats the key
