I have always been a fan of the older S1700s and S1800 both blue bird and thomas. They dont make them like they use to that is for sure. new buses are nice but they dont have personality like the older 1980s seem to. the old S series and Transit Pusher busses with the engine in back.

Thank you for posting Greg, that brings back memories. I do know that Blue Bird actually brought that old style door handle back, it was avilable on the 2008 Vision. Nice bus, will make someone a great vehicle. If I had the money I would purchase it in a heartbeat

We have a couple 04' TC's at our shop that have handles like that. They also have a key operated latch on the outside hooked to a cable that unlocks the service door.
