  • Danke Schen! I followed your examples but am still learning the way of looking at setting up the comparative advatage as input vs output?

  • how would one sum this up for an essay?

  • @JKT6 I've updated the link in the description box. There's also information on Wikipedia if you search for 'comparative advantage'.

  • Great Video thanks a lot

  • Mises just did an excellent vid going over this

  • Yeah, I wasn't happy with that one. I thought he rushed it. I looked around on Youtube and most people don't really bother to work out the examples, which is what actually shows the insight.

  • Check out this mises one:

You could probably cut it up, it does a way better job at explaining comparative advantage.

  • That's the one I was talking about.

  • oh okay, I misunderstood. I thought his examples were good.

Hard for me to gauge as I've taken 2 semesters of econ, but I thought it was a good intro.

PJ o'rourke had a quote saying basically that 'free market doesn't make sense until you think about it, so you have to be reminded every so often so you can at least pretend to believe in it.'

  • For the people who don't yet understand the advantages of trade, it's important to work out all the examples. And for the people who have heard of it but still cling to interventionist ideas, it's good to really drill it down, as showing that all participants can benefit should have broad implications.

  • me fall asleep. very good video. five zzz

  • Brilliant way to put it!
