  • WTF why would a guy knowingly put his hand in the spot that the scorpion is in?

My theory is the people who made this documentary planted a camera and the scorpion in the hole then asked him to fetch them a rock under there? 0.o

  • @zuevaxcy23

It's a fake hand. Nice theory, but no.

  • "While a sting from this scorpion is extremely painful, it normally would not kill an otherwise healthy adult human"

I dont know why they are showing the dude writhing on the ground and having a seizure, I'm pretty sure if you got stung by one of these it would just hurt like shit and cause local swelling.. I think they're only deadly to really young children or fragile old people

  • @HeavyMetalhead86 The pain will make you pass out.

  • DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • It has the strongest venom out of any known scorpion. Get stung by one and you will refer to it as a deathstalker.

  • At 1:42, the scorpion's all like "GET OVER HERE!" Get it, LOL!

  • three times as powerful as a king cobra, damn

  • @mitsuevo8mr

king cobra venom isnt as toxic as people think. they just inject a shit load of it when they bite.

  • i saw one and me and my cousin where poking it, to see it react (not hurting it). Don't think i would have done it if i'd known it was one of the most venomous scorpion

  • @MrFridayMan1 You and your cousin were poking a deathstalker scorpion? Man, how the fuck did it not attack?

  • @ryhorn100 not with our fingers just prodding it lightly with a stick

  • @MrFridayMan1 Right, but it could have still charged at you and stung you and/or your cousin. Or does it only do that in self-defense?

  • @ryhorn100 yer probably, it was a stupid thing to do but we didn't think it was too dangerous

  • EARTH IS 6298 years old

  • @Yaylin2 You honestly don't believe that do you?

  • Man i dont want to wake up with that in my face

  • I'm obsessed with scorpions because I am of the Scorpio zodiac sign Lol, corny I know.

  • damn they hella filmed the black guy dying

  • damn nature u scary

  • I own an emperor and this one and both are very well behaved don't get me wrong the bark scorpion has more of an attitude but ive never put myself in a situation to get stung and I hold them all the time. I actually had to go visit some friends in Ohio so just put the bark in my hand and walk right through the airport with him just chilling in my hoody and didn't have any problems lol but I spend alot of time handling them so please don't try anything unless your ready for the pain.

  • @jdbowling003 let me get this straight. You brought a loose centruriodes. sp on a plane with you in your hoodi? unless it was in a container which you did not say it was. Im gona go ahead and give you the idiot of the month award. Way to endanger others 5000 feet off the grownd.

  • @lweigle Hmmm good movie idea there, Scorpions on a plane! "I've had it with these muthaf*ckin' bugs on this muthaf*ckin' plane!" hehe

  • but he had no time to spend them

  • they paid him 100$

  • @JanoSeishu420 no if you listen to the commentators you will know that these scorpions live in Africa, and thrive in Africa. So no it was not purposefully done. And BTW do we still use the word "negro" in this century. or are you just glorifying your past white heritage.

  • @JanoSeishu420 it kinda makes sense, cause they are in north africa. ahahaha

  • @JanoSeishu420 Thumbs up if you think this guy's a retard for misspelling "purposely."

  • @JanoSeishu420

assholes like you have to bring race into everything. this is why i'd rather be in a cage full of death stalkers than to be with human morons.

  • @JanoSeishu420

you racist son of a bitch!

  • Comment removed

  • awesome photography!

  • I have no idea why, but I love scorpions.

  • That scorpion that stung the black man must've got its stinger removed just to film this

  • Why does the voice sounds like a psychopatic mainiac?

  • On Animal Planet tonight: deathstalker scorpions. Facts, native to Africa and middle east, 3rd most deadly scorp in world, venum 3 times stronger than a king cobra and yes there is anti-venum.

  • y can't we all creatures be friends not enemies

  • Damn nature, you scary

  • They paid Black Guy to let scorpion sting him.

Of course he didnt know that he'll dead short after this ;D

  • 1:40 Looks like a fat-tailed scorpion

  • that thisn is sexy

  • haha pwned

  • why is it a black guy?

  • @Subzero7899x

they are native to africa dumbass

  • @RLewisH Most Negros are!

  • @RLewisH according to an "I Survived" show, while in Iraq a woman was stung by one n he ring finger and left side from one of these. The do live in the Sahara desert though.

  • ominous name... deathstalker-- do you think the locals gave it that originally?

  • OMG! He's an ACTOR people!!!!

  • Cut off the stinger and eat them

  • Cute but deadly.

  • This is very inspiring. Thank you for the video.

  • did he died?

  • Death-stalker scorpion...that's a nice way of describing how Jennifer Anniston approaches men.

  • No offense but "illshockyou" is incorrect. A scorpion is in fact venomous, not poisonous. The two terms are often used interchangeably. A poison is ingested or absorbed as in touching a poisonous frog. A venom is "delivered / injected " by fang, teeth, stinger, tail, harpoon or spine. In some cases you can touch a poison and it won't harm you, but if you ingest it it will. Same with some venoms, you can put a drop of it on your tongue with no harm, but inject it and its another story.

  • First thing... Scorpions are poisonous, not venomous. Venom comes form fangs, poison comes from stingers. Sencond, People shouldn't be so afraid of these things just cause they look nasty. Scorpions are not very leathal to humans because their poison is designed for small insects not large mamals. I have been stung by the Arizona Bark Scorpion multiple times and have not suffered any bad effects other than pain.

  • @illshockyou

You obviously have no clue what you're talking about so you might as well shut up. Listen to shwmehvn, he does know what he's talking about.

Your claim about how lethal scorpions are, is also ridiculous. I'd love to see you get stung by and Androctonus australis, Leiurus quinquestriatus or Hemiscorpius lepturus and then claim that scorpions aren't dangerous. Once again, if you don't know what you're talking about, don't bother spreading wrong information...

  • @Fepl The Arizona bark scorpion is the most poisonous in North America.... I'm not dead or paralyzed. Again small insects ≠ Large mammals.

  • @illshockyou

It might be the most venomous in Nort America but it still isn't as potent as Aa, Lq or Hl. LD50 value is a good point of reference. I never said that all scorpions are deadly creatures from hell. But your statement that they aren't dangerous at all is quite silly too. While the chance that sting will kill a healthy adult , is very small, these species are still potentially dangerous. I don't like demonizing scorpions but calling them innocent creatures is wrong too.

  • @Fepl

Scorpions are technically innocent. Innocence and guilt are reserved for those species with the capacity to process right and wrong.

  • @apophysis7 I'm pretty sure they aren't innocent at all and actually have an evil mastermind. At night they all gather under a big rock to plot the complete domination of the human race. At least, that's how i see it.

  • @illshockyou Venomous refers to animals that deliver (often, inject) venom into their prey when hunting or as a defense mechanism. So yes Scorpions are venomous not poisonous, and some are also VERY dangerous, just like snake venom that is designed for small mammals can very easily kill humans. Please at the very least, do a quick web search for info before you come here and try and sound right while making yourself look like a moron.

  • @illshockyou

Wrong. Venom is secreted by any body part, but is injected. Poison is ingested. Get it?

Poison = ingested, venom = injected.

  • Got to love those fake hand props. Some people on here thinking that someone would be stupid enough to risk their life by touching one.I bet someone attached a fake hand to a ten foot pole-lmao

  • no the sean wer he got stung wus a ejipshon not deth stoker

  • ok i thought the same thing *did that guy die* he didnt die he was just acting. the way i know is if u see when the scorpian kills the grass hopper the top is pretty sharp cause of the stinger (whitch is where the venom come out) but when the guy gets stung gets stung the top of it is pretty flat like some1 chop off the stinger and then paid the guy to act like he got stung .ur welcome 4 answering thesse questions ?

  • i just found one of these in my house!

  • @Hivits you kidding ?!

  • @DeidaraArt96

my death stalker have some plenty of hatch slings

    msg me

  • Are the scorpions immune to their own poison?

  • @shunnehling

yeah. they can't get injured from their own venom. i remember reading it in a book. but i dont know about other scorpions of the same species.

this video is somewhat inaccurate. while talking about the deathstalker, they showed a lot of different scorpions. the scorpion catching that big grasshopper is a androctonus sp. or the fattail.

  • @TheBugFreak I think it's pretty evident because they eat the food they sting...

  • LOL geniuses!

  • SCORPANOKS!!!!! TERRORIZE!!!!!

  • that guy is dying and the camera man is just freakin' standing there record????

  • @HolyCrapsItsKeychain i fu ck ing agree fuck ing white poeple and azns let him f u ck en die? just cus hes black ?

  • @Joshua1234gf I thank you for agreeing but that does offend me. That is because I am also Asian. Still, to stay on topic, they should have taken him to the hospital.

  • ya they should have not just let him die like that

  • If you're dumb enough to try picking up a scorpion like the guy in this video you deserve what you get.

  • visit my newly created scorpion-only channel

  • bear grylls just ate one on man vs wild, he was in the sahara

  • When I was about 4 yrs old, I was stung by a bark scorpion, which are poisonous but nowhere near what the fellow in this video can do. It nearly killed me, but I was pretty little. Did you know scorpions will glow in blacklight? It's weird to see.

  • O_O *shivers down spine* eeugh...

  • stupid grasshopper deserved to die.

  • Ikus13 ur a dick no animal deserves 2 die!

  • I just love those creatures! the way they attack...and then inject the poison..i would love to see 1 real scorpion :D

  • For the record..you wont die from a sting if you seek medical treatment, that's the reason most people die from stings..lack of medical care..I've been stung twice and I'm still alive.bleeding in the brain and from the ears is a bit overly dramatic and doesn't happen...Leiurus quinquestriatus has the most toxic venom not the most deadly that title belongs to A.australis which kills more people a year than sharks

  • bigboxx ok dude of cours you need medical treatment but they dont have it there and you haven't been bit by a death stalker probaly just emperor scorpion or a desert hairy scorpion obviosly your alive because they only have the venom of a bee

  • 1st.. just to start off Einstein..scorpions don't bit (and its spelled bite)they sting. 2nd...I take it you have no experience with scorpions except what you watch on Television.3rd I on the other hand have more than 20Yrs experience keeping invert's and breeding invertebrates..(scorpions included) including L.quinquestriatus.what you meant to say was they have a sting similar to a bee.

  • but in his use of the word it is bit it wouldn't make sense to say: you haven't been bite by a death stalker but good points there :)

  • the proper word to use would be "bitten" not bit..a bit is a form of measurement.

  • good point

  • Most countries that sell these commercially will NOT have the anti-venom in most hospitals.

  • This is very true. there's only 2 in the U.S. that I know that have it on hand..Ohio state university hospital, (which I live like 6 blocks away from) and Loma Linda University Hospital in S.Cal.

  • alot of normal scorpions can kill if theyre allergic mainly to bee's its unfortunate, but thats what happens if you own them like i do, the main rule is nomatter whats available, if it can kill you dont own or play with it.

  • gr3993 your partially right,,,,if your allergic to bee's theirs a problem but if your not....

a leiurus quiquestriatus will fuckin kill you,,,,adult child or old person whatever,,,its not called an "egyptain DEATHSTALKER" because its venom is no more than an allergical risk, with in 1 hour you will hemorage out of your brain and ears because in hemo and nuero toxin is so strong in a little that if your stung your fucked...you have better chances living from a taipan bite they have anti venom.

  • i have a scorpion i love that creature and it scares the heck out of my female friends

  • omfg dude Leiurus quinquenstriatus is the second most venomis scorpion in the world it WILL KILL U no mather what 100% ull die in 15 mins top !

  • not rly black mamba snakes can kill you in 15 minutes and ppl still live

  • that isn't true at all, most stings that are fatal are because the person envenomated was at a greater risk than someone at full health (very young children, very sick adults, etc.) And even when death occurs it doesn't happen in 15 minutes, no arachnid on earth (known arachnid) has a venom that powerful. Even the ones that have very potent venoms do not inject a high amount. Most people stung once by this scorpion will live, though medical attention is advised.

  • funnel web spider vs deathstalker scorpion??

I think deathstalker venom is more dangerous for human!

  • ho knows the name of that's scorpion?

  • LOL The Death stalker?

    thats the Leiurus quinquestriatus,

But like the video says ITS DANGEROUS! and there are more than 2000 dif scorpions and only 25 are lethal to humans.

  • thanks, but i want to know the name of scorpion at 1.06,1.07. enione knows it?

  • You would NOT mess with that thing. It gives me the creeps.

  • 1:40 "get over hereeeee" where u think u r going,................finishing, flawless victory

  • and i thought the name was scary '~'

  • Did they kill that man for the show?

  • Whatever dumbass.

  • Wow..You are the most idiotic person on youtube I'm sure.

  • sure...they paid him 20 bucks

  • @RottenRroses i think those ass holes did

  • @RottenRroses yes they did they wanted to show the venom to a human and the only way to do that is to get up close and personal, besides he was only an intern :P

  • @SlayeroftheSky lol its funny how everyone treats interns like crap

  • @RottenRroses no! probably a mechanical scorpian

  • @RottenRroses yeah they did man i hate being white

even tho im half japaneese i wish i was just japaneese

god white poeple are so selfish why they didnt help that poor bastard

  • @RottenRroses lol

  • @RottenRroses No. It's a fake reinactment.

  • @RottenRroses no u fucking idiot

  • @RottenRroses LOL

  • @RottenRroses pretty sure he did cus he was probs acting who would watch him dying without trying to help him?

  • Scorpions are generally very slutty,

  • emps arent deadly :D luckely

  • Scorpions are the most impressive animals/arachnids living on the planet!

Leiurus quinquestriatus has a LD50 (50% lethal dose) toxicity levels of 0.160.50 mg/kg. so it is the most dangerous scorpion, but Androctonus australis is the one taking most life's pr year.

I have a big collection of scorps, and do breed A.australis and A.australis tunisia and some other speicis. just got myself a couple of A.bicolor and female P.transvaalicus, amazing predators!

  • I heard they do sell deathstalker scorpions in Canada and the US. But if I may ask... what's the purpose of owning such a dangerous creature?

  • Ur 100% right man x)

  • @badassdesigns is their a cure for getting stunged? just asking

  • @badassdesigns are there any scorps indigenous to North America? many times over the years i have seen some, but maybe they are just pets that were released?

  • @rejectedbythedevil14 there are *some* centruroides spieces, in my time of keeping scorps i had different spieces og centruroides, search it up on wiki, or google and you'll find a tonn of info on centruroides sp. :) some could have been "pets" but most likely wild since they are pretty common in north america. Some of them are lethal, some are not, but be carefull if you have an idea to collect them, they can be deadly! (if you are alergical, any scorpion can be deadly!),

  • @badassdesigns Technically, it's more so being over-sensitive to the venom. There have never been any recorded deaths through an 'allergic' reaction to scorpion venom. Though regardless, as you say, any scorpion should be treated as dangerous and with great care when owning.

  • Is there a change to alive after it stinged?

  • sure that's not an African tourism video?
