C SPAN “Black Republican Forum” Session 2 (begin at 11:30) Allen West said one of the 1986 caveats was to secure our borders and enforcement our laws, but haven’t happened. (We’re still talking about new amnesty like DREAM Act.) We can’t allow local cities to make sanctuary cities policies, because they will bring our inner city turf wars to epic proportions by bringing in the drug cartel and Columbian gangs. (Mexican Gangs don’t recognize our borders established by the Treaty of Guadalupe)
In November 2010, the unemployment rate was 9.8% with 15.1 million unemployed. (15.1 million/9.8%) = 154 million are able to work in the workforce. 11,941,812 (or 11.9 million) skilled jobs provided to illegal immigrants. GOOGLE “illegal immigration counters”, the 15.1 million unemployed could take the 11.9 million available jobs. The unemployment rate could be reduced to 2.1% {{15.1-11.9)/154}
The DREAM Act misses the entire point of being an ILLEGAL ALIEN. Illegal does not mean "if you can avoid being deported for five or more years", it means YOU'RE NOT ENTITLED TO BE HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE. I would like to introduce my own DREAM ACT. I DREAM politicians will begin to stand up for legal, tax-paying, middle class citizens who follow the laws. Deport law breakers and their anchor babies. Stop subsidizing criminal behaviour.
Who said anything about the Dream Act paying for college? It merely allows students to attend college (through scholarships or by getting a job, which oh yeah, they can't legally do) or to serve in the military, as a means of showing they'll be productive, tax-paying citizens. What's wrong with that?
Remember, these are people who LIVE HERE ALREADY. Enabling them to pay taxes by getting a legal job seems like a smart economic idea to me.
6 days ago We need to stop the dream act, before it turns into a nightmare act for our country. If you feel strongly about this proposed law. Get off your butt and write to you congress men and tell them you do not support this nightmare act. Americans should come first and should be our first priority.
Maybe if you paid more close attention to the specifications of the DREAM Act it does not say they will pay for your college education, but that you will be eligible for financial aid. Why deny someone the right to go to college because of their "legal status"?
There is no hate involved to see that is not fair to pay for illegal immigrants' college tuition when so many people BORN here can't afford it themselves!
@IrreplacablePerry these students have excelled in academia. Most are in the top 10% of their graduating class. Personally, when I graduated in 2007 from high school 4 out of the top 10 were undocumented. I went to Carl Hayden high school, our core ROBOTICS members were undocumented. It is about doing things right, they are extremely talented and this country can't afford to lose them.
@jose2007cc They have spent 10-15 years in a state that forces them to pay out of state tuition, and takes most of their opportunity to apply for scholarships. Personally the most academic successful person i have known is undocumented. That person graduated saluditarian, and currently has 4.105 GPA in engineering. Speaks fluent Spanish and English, while she struggles to obtain a college education. If she had been born here, we would acclaim her as a prodigy, but instead we call her illegal.
The fact is that they actively & knowingly committed a crime. In doing so, they have spit in the face of Americans & shown other illegals that they can do the same. Come to the US & abuse their system. Let the Americans pay for their failures! Let the Americans raise their retarded children of whom half of will drop out of school before graduation b/c of pregnancy or incarceration! Let's encourage their criminal trespassing!
.
tl;dr: illegals need to be shot for entering the country
He wants to be a part of society? He is, the criminal element. Matias, dude, you are here illegally and you're an adult. Do the right thing: Leave. You are wrongfully occupying a space in the U.S. that belongs to someone who has applied to enter legally and is still waiting in his home country.
I also gave it one star and flagged it as spam, but for containing misleading text. The woman in the video LIED by saying falsely that it is legal for illegals to attend schools in the U.S.
I'll be phoning my federal reps to complain about it, and to ask them to enforce the law against harboring illegal aliens at all schools.
What is this video, a watering hole for pro-illegals? I rated it one star and FLAGGED it as spam mass media advertising propaganda, trying to brainwash people into believing down is up.
The Dream Act would be contrary to already-existing federal law, which says it's a CRIME to aid or abet, or to encourage or harbor, illegals aliens.
Instead, all universities and other schools harboring illegal aliens should be PROSECUTED, and fined $5,000 EACH illegal, and made to pay all deportation costs.

These are very deserving people; the cream of the crop; very smart & intelligent; hard-working , and honest , and would pay for themselves 1,000,000 times over any investment made. So how many of the annual 65,000 meet this high standard? Maybe 2? Maybe 10? Let's give the DREAM Act amnesty to 10 illegal aliens annually.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Contrary to what some of our leaders may think, the DREAM Act is not a mechanism that rewards illegal behavior. The DREAM Act will finally provide a path of opportunity and hope for very deserving people. These people have earned the DREAM Act! It is simply unfair and completely un-American to support these children all through public school, only to drop them after high school graduation. It's time to go from dreams to actions, and the time is NOW!
Go Matias!!!!! What you do is great...thanks for standing up for this! God will certaily have His way.....this is heading for approval I believe...Sigue hacia adelante!
