  • too much counter-steer and let of the throttle = phail

  • Don't take foot off throttle in awd, ffs

  • @blucrave ,spot on,if he'd kept his foot in, it would have straightened itself eventually

  • unlucky man..i thoughtu was gna pull out of that ok!! well dne for keeping it on the track!

  • thank god for RHD! =)

  • bellend

  • He Safe His Car

  • Good, STI's are as the name suggests... (Sexually transmitted infection)

    Every cocksucker has one.

  • whose the nob who said "bit of t-cut!" there is always someone who has to say that!

  • why does every prick say after an accident, ohhh a bit of t-cut will get that out? when obviously it wont

  • should have kept the power down

  • still just a buster...

  • Comment removed

  • same corner the audi RS4 wagon lost it on too

  • Poor little scoobie.

  • meguiars compound will fix that.

  • Thumbs up to the drivers who actually did this on a racetrack and not on the open road like so many under tards.

  • @thoreaon gtfo grandpa

  • @FirstFamilyCharger Why is he a 'Grandpa' because he speaks common sense, and things like this should be done on private areas such as race tracks not on the public highway where it is dangerous.

  • @tomandz4 or because hes trying to influence safety over youtube, who gives a fuck!

  • everyone fucks up the counter

  • Hahahahahaha.

  • Lol @ 0:13

  • sell the impreza and get an 200sx.

  • what made him think he could drift it looks to be AWD stock gearing i would imagine. so obviously when those tires slowed down just the slightest bit.. instant grip and probably violant in the car when it jerked that way. just stupd.... deserved it

  • @1994toyotasupra omg! u r da cool! u must be the first person on the internet to put down someone in an attempt to look smart!

  • @brettjr25 not really attempt to look smart at all.. i just like expressing my opinion.. thats what comments are for..and plus he really does look like he purposely tried to drift. idk if it was accident or not but if it was on purpose.... stupid move. simple as that.

  • one less chav Impreza

  • ouch my pride :(

  • it has racing stripes now :)

  • At least he was going for it

  • lol

  • lmao AW

  • Good drift, shame you lost it.

At least you had the sense to go and do it on track not in the tesco car park.

  • Bet that happens all the time on that corner!

  • whats with drifting a awd car on tarmac at high speed? i though true racing was to keep traction

  • "I am a driving God, everyone look at me... aaaah aaaah aaaAAAAAAAAAARGH"

  • nothin a little DW40 cant fix

    -hank hill voice

  • "I live my life one repair bill at a time, and for that $10,000 or more, I feel like a broke man."

Spin Diesel, from the movie Fast & Furious: Sick Drift, Bro

  • wall drifts into impreza

  • i still have that car. if you dont want it send it my ways

  • that is what happens when you try to drift one of these vehicles stock or something like it. He should be embarrassed not showing the car to everyone.

  • almost had it, too bad.

  • That'll buff right out.

  • fucking madd till ya flicked the opposite way haha

  • In a Monty Python voice : "It's only a FLESH wound!!!"

  • YEAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!............ oooohhhhhhhhhhhhh....

  • He thought the wall was a huge buffing pad.

  • was tha\t at castle combe race tack?

  • At least he was on a track

  • Dont you mean 'impreza (and) STI drifts into wall' ? I mean the guy obviously is a sexually transmitted infection right?

  • @bidefordrfc You, my acquaintance, sound like a fucking retard.

  • @WinzoIsAEpicFail

Actually i retract that comment......he gains respect for being on a track!

  • driver: yess i did it! (starts dancing) holy shit crash!!!!!

  • "That'll wax right out"

  • atleast it was at a track day and not on public roads

  • Another shitty day at Castle Combe LMAO.

  • ahahaahaha 0.23 bit of t-cut

  • what a noob cunt. He froze and didnt know what to do then woke up and realised what to do when it was too late. Typical Noob trait, shouldnt be on the track you might kill someone.

  • noob

  • si enteresaba el volante despues de la curva no se la daba cointra la pared, lo que pasa es que en ese momento ni te acordas! jaja pobre flaco

  • untill 0:07 it was perfect, but what the hell did he after that??!?! man..

  • How on earth he managed to hit the wall, would have been harder to hit then miss it! Evo would have been more forgiving!

  • time for the custom paint job!

  • "Bit of t-cut" hahahah, never gets old

  • here thay're not worth a tin of shit evos are popular and everywere, hold their price but are also so cheap but not as cheap as the unreliable wrx!

  • that might buff out

  • bonus, head lights still their so its still a legal car to drive

  • looks like it was at a track day to wich means no insurance (bummer)

  • I hate the stupid thumbs up thing but still thumbs up if you'd still take it...

  • Damn oversteer. >_>

  • "Close"

  • almost had it

  • you can see at the end of the 6th second and start of the 7th second in the video hes still countersteering wen the wheel should have been near straight, even then in a awd going that fast and that sideways itll be mega hard to controll

  • could of been much worse, ide say thats a pretty good result considering the speed and direction...

  • some cunt always makes the tcut comment

  • Yes one down

  • gooooooooooooooood

    you don't crash the engine

  • te falto doblar el manurio pal otro lao.. aosdjaos

  • it was a very good drift

  • Its not that bad i thought the car was completely fucked

  • In an AWD car, once you catch the ass end with the countersteer, you have to start unwinding the steering wheel back into the turn. If you hold the counter too long once you've caught it, the front tires will grab and snatch you to the outside.

  • @routan1 good to know, thanks!

  • @routan1 when the back kicked out to the right, I bet if he left the wheels turned left and nailed the e brake he might have been able to save it... maybe not though. Id definitely cry if that was me and my car...

  • @routan1 i learnt it the hard way yesterday when i flipped my 3 day old 2003 wrx i had just bought, at least the engine and chasis is alright, guess ill have to do a paint and body job... fml

  • @alexito01235 Live, learn, etc. I guess. It happens. If nobody got hurt, then all in all, it was a good day. If the car is wasted, find a good Impreza shell, swap all the good bits onto it and start over. Be careful out there.

  • @routan1 thanks.. nobody was hurt, but my feelings r, im 17 and worked hard for my car now i have to put another 2000$ in the car luckily i found a good paying summer job.. thanks for the response though:P

  • @routan1 So true, i learned that from Gran Turismo.

  • nobody wants to see a crash but everybody wants to be there if it happens

  • awww so disappointing! he had it too!!!! he just over corrected, the awd is a point and shoot system, you point the car where you want it to go and it'll go there, he had such a good drift line too he wouldn't have had to counter steer that much at all to come out of it cleanly

  • so much for AWD lol

  • its a 4 WD, just keep your foot down the acc, don't move your steeringwheel that much... looks like he drove the first time -.-

  • watch out the kickback!:)

  • noob couldnt counter steer quick enough

  • @StreetSurfinn Actually that happened because he DID counter steer... Too much.

  • he over corrected the drift

  • oops

  • sti were built from 94 i think and this is an sti as i have one look at the bumper, wheels, blue trim, large intake on the bonnet its an sti for shaw

  • he held the steering wheel to long left he should of straitened it up a bit

  • how the fuck did he Actually manage that ?!

  • @tyu198 driving skills haha

  • every time Isee one of these on the roads it is driven by an old man or a chav!!! They really are cars for wankers and old codgers!

  • Dad is gonna be angry

  • it'll buff out

  • HAHA, did you hear his mate a bit of T-CUT ON IT. in my opinion a few doors, one front wing, one front light and a bumper, but you just never no "T-CUT does work wonders on dents. :)

  • Would have been really nice if he hadn't overcompensated the counter-steer!

  • cant countersteer for that long in a awd car..

  • that's why when you learn how to drift you do it in LOW speeds...... -.-

  • @7psuxos if you have a look at my video af the proceeding 3 Lap you will see that I am NOT trying to drift it. see "STi SUBARU CRASH JAPFEST 2004 ALL LAPS"

Due to me giving the tyres some stick on all the other corners my tyres gave up grip and i missed the apex

I have no arguments with driver error, as it was,

Tony(my user name is my numberplate ;)

  • poor subaru

  • sucks to be YOU!

  • ya it does suck to be you...

  • oh no he shouldn't have countersteered with 4WD

See Initial D, Sudo says brabra...

  • no problem man

    insurance will pay

  • I doubt it will. Most inrance companies do not include damaged caused by racing your car.

  • @0VeilSide0

My insurance did cover me as it was a Driver improvement day (a not timed track day) The insurance paid up I paid my £500 excess and had protected no claims bonus :D

  • @T5NYW You will have a very hard time by making that "reason of crash" stick to a USA insurance company. Not only will they refuse and reject your claim they will charge you a premium for the insult!

  • @0VeilSide0 The ONLY insurance company that did it, has now dropped the Track cover off ALL new policies due to this and another persons similar claim.

I am still on an old Policy it covers un-timed track sessions £800 per year maybe £200 year more than a new Policy.

Track insurance approx £150-200 a day and £1000-2000 excess, I have done over 30 trackdays since that accident (without incident) and no way will i change my Policy ;D

I was amusing to fill in the Claims form though

    Tony

  • he countersteer for too long

  • ah it'll buff out!!!

  • wow sick drift, didnt straighten out quick enough :/

    snap return

  • I feel as though his center diff setting were on auto.. That car is really weird when it gets lose, i've done the same thing, but no traumatic out come. knock on wood.

  • Bit of t-cut, it will buff out

  • That Was A Gooood Drift.....But That Sucks What Happen, :( Id Be Sad to Leave The Track With My Car Hurt :( Well I Hope your Subaru Is all Fixed Up

  • BRand this salvage, put it up on auction and I'll buy it for $5,000.00 lol =)

  • @MikeHuntIsItchy hell yeah

  • @MikeHuntIsItchy 5g is a bit generous considering thats what they're with in good shape

  • @rollzon20z

umm not, well it depends on miles yeah but if this is fairly low mileage it should rack 5g+, also depends WHERE it sells, if like on Copart where the whole fucking world can bid, it'll go for a lot.

  • WTF it was doing a great drift, he got scared didn't tap gas...and instead turned into the other side..and bam...dam...:(

  • didnt tap gas? no he did not return from countersteer in time

  • @Drkadrk did not return in time? over correction was the problem, not lack of reaction time

  • after countersteering he should have snapped the wheel back straight quicker

  • true.

  • impreza of this body style they just assume that its only a WRX. But if its this body style and right hand drive its most likely an STi

  • Yeah you are totally right. Even though it says STi on the spolier that doesn't mean that it is cause lots of people just put decals on. But yes the car in this video is deffinatly an STi. It's a JDM STi from Japan thats why its Right hand drive. They didn't bring the STi to north america till 2004 and thats when they switched body styles slightly. The STi in this video would probably be a 2002 or a 2003 because its the bug eye body style. Thats why lots of people when they see a

  • @potc420 it was my STi 2002 UK Car it is not a JDM (UK as no rear wiper)

it was restyle by Prodrive from new, later modifications were PPP (305ps) & PHP a Handling pack . ;)

  • @T5NYW Ahh , i see. Well all i knew is that it was a STi and not a wrx like someone was trying to say it was. Most people just assume when its a bugeye that its a wrx cause we didnt have STi's around here untill 2004. But i didnt even think of a uk one. I just assumed it being rhd it was a JDM. Either way, still an STi

  • And why do you say its not STi? Cause it is. It's not just a WRX. Let me guess cause its a bug eye you'll say. They didn't make STi's till the next year's model. Well you probably didn't notice the right hand drive. And you probably don't know that STi's have been around long before 2004, they were around even before the bug eye impreza style

  • @potc420

so that means: i am right!?

if you look closely you can read the "STI" on the side of the rear spoiler at 0:22

  • Way to recover dude, I thought you were going to "Earnhardt" for a minute there. Woulda been a nice drift.

  • @potc420 yah its a STi the bug eyes were done in STi version for RHD markets (or maybe just the JDM market)

  • @myhomeboytj well yeah youre right it was the RHD, not just JDM

  • @potc420 oh ok, I wasnt sure.

  • I think he should floor it and let the engine power to pull the car goes stright, that how I did when I'm driving 4WD WRX when its loosing traction.

  • people on 0:11 "yeeeeeeeey" :D

  • sombody needs to tell this guy "you never floor it and try to correct a 4wd when its badly out of control or you spin forever!!!" you let of the gas and steer your way back to normal.. ameteurs lol

  • im sorry.. WHAT!!!???

  • what?

  • ohh and i bet your the fukn man drifting ur subie?

  • no lol i have nearly shit my self on many occasions when mine feels like its losing the back end as its quite unpredictable after it goes hence why i dont drift my subaru but i know that letting off the gas and steering your way out is the best bet as flooring and giving opposite lock makes it act like a wild stallion-(from experience)..

  • you see kids, thats why drifting is for losers

  • 1 cat c write off coming up! gotta be gutted for the guy tho!
