haha i wish we could. we had an episode ready for upload, but my hard drive was stolen nigh 3 months ago. and we just never got around to doing any more episodes.... maybe someday...

Ok, this is Jay. A comment was recently posted by a user named Baiiiily (or something like that) and I approved it. Then i went to reply it... and hit the remove button instead. I didn't do it on purpose... but anyway, they posted something like this:

"what's up with the Jonas brothers music video? it's way too long and it made me think it was only a music video. i almost didn't watch it, but i did. no offense jay, but it's way too long." something to that effect

I've had many users and friends tell me that the title sequence was too long, and now that i have had a few months to ponder it, i must agree. When Clay and i discussed the making of the theme song before the first episode, we wanted a song with a catchy beat. The animation was the only thing that i could think of at that time, and it actually took 2 and a half weeks of brutal editing (more than the first episode itself took XD).

I didn't really like the idea of cutting the song in the middle (at that time) and my original idea consisted of the music video appearing on one of the notebook pages, but that would require too much editing. So, we did the next best thing and just stuck the segment in.

Clay and i have talked and we do plan to update and change the theme song after the "first season" of ijay is over. I had originally wanted to write something, sort of like Drake Bell did for Drake & Josh.

but time didn't permit, so we went with something that was already written. So, if you hate the song, i'm sorry to say that you'll be stuck with it for 8 more months XD. Not only do i have to write it, but recording it also poses a problem. But, have no fear, we do plan on giving the iJay theme sequence a complete remodeling. Until then, i guess you just have to fast-forward...
