  • anyone tried___ w w w diymagneticmotor com ?

  • Crap music, even worse car.

  • Why would anyone buy a 100 grand car just to save on GAS!!!

  • @gianboy2001 not needing to replace parts CONSTANTLY... not needing to go to the gas station EVER AGAIN.

You go to sleep, you plug it in, you wake up, it's ready...

    I wouldn't spend 100g, but that's because I don't have it :P

  • @gianboy2001 Well fortunately for Tesla they can justify the price on performance and looks as well. Plus the rich environmentalists can breath easy at night too.

  • @gianboy2001 you wouldn't, this is a performance vehicle. you don't buy a performance vehicle if you are worried about saving anything, you buy it for performance. To me the only disappointing thing about the roadster is that they are going to stop producing it. I think they should treat it the way chevrolet treats the corvette. make it a showcase item... worry about making money with your OTHER products. this car is the face of Tesla. HUGE mistake to stop producing it.

  • I want someone to drive this up my ass

  • I wanna fucking cry this is great.

  • The oil companies are not threatened by electric vehicles.

By the time the world SLOWLY converts to Electric Vehicles the INCREASED population of the earth will still be consuming all the Oil and Natural Gas needed for the thousands of other products that are made directly and or indirectly from Oil and natural gas.

Keep in mind that the electric Vehicle you see in the video would not be possible without the Oil industry and the Natural Gas Industry.

NO pollution is what excites me.

  • Tesla is rolling over in his grave right now...seriously people!?! How disrespectful to take this brilliant mans name and shit on it for profit. The dream he tried to realize was free energy for EVERYONE. This is a bad joke, if Tesla hadn't sacraficed his personal wealth in the current wars, Edison would've imposed the DC system and poor people would still cook on fires. This mans name is many times more deserving than the name of an overpriced car.. this is a disgusting mockery of Tesla's dream

  • lol this is like some 80's gay porno music.

  • i don't know about an electric sports car. the porsche 918 spyder would be the biggest compromise i could accept but i definitely need the roaring of a high performance internal combustion engine when i kick down...

  • @Vittys3team you can hardly hear it anyway!!!

  • electric car = for gay people..

  • younglionz = small penis

  • @younglionz You probably drive some 5mpg truck. Electric car=makes a whole lot more sense than a stinkin gasser. Less torque lag, more efficient, quiet, less emissions, will eventually allow America to not depend on all of the psycho middle eastern countries for energy.

  • @younglionz haha wuda gay thing to say lol fag

  • YO PEOPLE! this song isn't gay u gaylorded haters! this is a good song that i first heard off of GTA Vice City Stories & is exelent!!! BTW coming from a 15 year old!!! & still better than MOST of todays junk...

  • @Vittys3team I hate to admit it but I recognize this gay song from and 80's movie called "Electric Dreams" about a guy who's computer comes alive and falls in love with his girlfriend.

  • @xpsyclonex2002 that must make you gay then. I just love the word gay dont you?

  • @deadmantyping2 It makes me feel trendy and modern.

  • @deadmantyping2 it makes me feel gay.

  • the problem here is that if every person or at least most people use this type of cars then there is going to be less jobs because of the fel companies

  • I want one! thanks for posting and the music was appropriate, electric dreams very good!

  • this car go faster then the lotus elise... top gear tested

  • @Vittys3team You can't hear the car sound cos there is NO car sound! And in a sports car that's a bad thing!!

  • Just put a HKS exhaust on that and you're good

  • Buy this instead of a Ferrari.

  • @Philush97 know man it saves the planet and it manufactured right here in the USA

  • Looks somewhat like a Lotus Evora mixed with an Exige or Elise

  • @Vittys3team

its weird as hell because there is no sound, you cant hear the engine, my neighbor bought one used for around $50,000 and he gave me a ride, no sound at all. I personally like to hear the engine.

  • The oil lobby is keeping despotic Arab countries afloat and cash rich, able to fund terrorism and extremists ideological parties who are already in the west and poised to strike.

This car represents more than just quiet engines with fewer moving parts - it represents preservation of freedom in the west and the destruction of terrorist states without having to send our boys over there to die. With more nuclear power stations we could run most vehicles on electricity and have cleaner air.

  • averageprofits(.)com

  • @Vittys3team : That's the problem, i doesn't make any sound, just Gay wistling... that fits the gay music LOL

  • for all you people who think the oil companies are gonna some how make this company who "ALREADY" are using electric motors capable of meeting road standards. Please look the technology up and buy it then tell yours friends. KAPESH

  • @Vittys3team music does not have a sexual orientation

but this music is so horrible it's an insult to gay people

  • I would like to produce an electric car to go up against that Tesla.

  • Check out my site and see if this helps.

  • The car is electric... there is no sound.

  • There is LESS sound in an electric car, but not ZERO.

  • This car may go fast and look good, but it, and for that matter all other electric cars, are no more economical than your average car. Yes it uses less emisions while driving. But it takes roughly SIX hours to charge it, and where do you think the electricity that charges it comes from?

It comes from the power stations, which produce more greenhouse gases in a day than your average car does in a week!!

If you want to save the world, your better off buying something like a Ford Fiesta Econetic.

  • @Pranksterboy333 This is precisely why the entire global warming issue is used by corporations to again, manipulate the masses. People are fucking sheep.

  • @Thingamajigs tell those sheep the message and give them proof!

  • @Pranksterboy333 Read this blog to understand this issue big-oils-electric-shock on the betterplace blog site.Saying that a powerplant produces more emissions than an average car is rediculous because a power station will be able to power more many more than one car.

  • @cag66 ok, cars only cause 14 percent of major global warming! The other 86 percent is caused by powerplants and farms! So if your really serious about stopping global warming, try putting solar panels on the roof of your house! And in a test done on Top Gear, a BMW M3 and Toyota Prius drove at exactly the same speed around the Top Gear Test Track. The BMW 19.4 miles to the gallon, the Prius did 17.2 miles to the gallon! Thats because of all the fuel the hybrid engine needs to recharge it self!

  • @Pranksterboy333 the prius and tesla are completely different. The prius is a hybrid, electric-gas, then the tesla is all electric, no gas. And the reason the prius used more fuel is because the m3 did not have to struggle to maintain the same speeds. The electric engine only works when not under load, so getting a car up to speed with its 67hp compared to the 414hp of the m3 is a struggle. Example being my GT nearly gets as good of gas milage as my BMW 330i under the right conditions.

  • @98bamaboygt Electric cars are even worse than hybrids! All Electric cars do is transfer power from the pump to the plug. And as far as the Prius' engine only working when not under load goes, if I can't drive my car down a main road, doing 60km/h without it working then that is extremely bad engine sustanability. (I neglected to mention in my last post that they were doing about 60km/h around the track).

And as I said before, the car only produces 14 percent of green house gases.

  • these videos are made on purpose to ridicule electric cars... I wonder what Tesla company is doing about it... or are they into this shit?

  • @Vittys3team your right that is some pretty gay music

  • this music suits the first "joke" car, but not the tesla

  • Why would anyone take a very expensive car and turn it into an even more expensive car and then expect to sell a bunch of them ? How is this practical? If they had done this with something like a Ford Focus, then I'd be a lot more interested and so would the rest of the general public. Please don't tell me all these cars are already sold out. That's called scarcity hype.

  • Still fugly.What a stupid vid.Faggot green peer's.

  • high octane gas > anything in terms of performance

    sorry

  • in the future electric cars will be faster in terms of 0 - 100 but then again you lose the lovely engine sound =[ it whines instead of roars

  • DUDE i like the sound of the car

  • What's with the faggity-ass music?

  • seriously. could they have chosen a more masculine song like "wake me up" by wham?

  • thats cool il hav 1

  • Fuel companys will destroy this dream.

  • @Lurkku not this one...its already too late for that

  • @Lurkku who would thumb up this comment?

  • @leloodallasmultipass

Because he is true. Fuck the oil lobby ....

  • @Lurkku I'm hoping Hydrogen destroys this dream. All it is doing is delaying the inevitable.

  • @AHickenUK

    Why hydrogen?

  • @AHickenUK HaHa hydrogen is a waste of time supported by oil companies because they know it will fail miserably.

  • @cag66 How is it a waste of time when a single engine could power a street full of homes? When the only thing coming out of the exhaust is water and when it is the most commonly found resource in the universe? It's got about the same difficulty to extract has deep water drilling which takes place all over the world. It also only has an engine with one moving part and allows people to drive like they usually would. They fill up like usual and drive like usual. There is no recharging at home etc.

  • @Lurkku lol wuzz up with this fuckn detroit rednecks saying oil companies will destroy thi sdream ahaha california is going green big time real big time in case you didn know this car is oversold as of now there are thousands of costumers in waitng list you fuckn moron i dont see that happenin at any fuckn gmc

  • @Lurkku We can always call up Al Queada to go blow the oil companies buildings haha

  • gay music

  • hahaha no kidding

  • yeah a guy in uk leicester made oe similar does 800 miles on one charge of 4 hours. the oil companies would go bust and govt lose most revenue.

  • I would personally love to see the oilcompanies go bust so better alternatives can appear in a massive scale

  • @Nichen if anything, the oil companies will be the ones with the pattens on all the alternative tech.

  • If I wasn't so broke after being laid off, I might be able to afford one of these. Whats the price tag around $200K

  • yeah, saving all that gas money does a lot of good when u have to spend 100 grand to do it......don't get me wrong. awesome car, but not economical.

  • your right, i spend on average 5k a year in gas, average car cost 35 say it slast for 10 years we can all agree on that thats 55000 with out repairs factored it but lets say all cars have no repairs, paying 100k for a car to save you on gas, isnt saving you money.lol hahahha this is not the answer to the energy crisis

  • 5 grand a year in gas?? wow. what do you drive, a semi? lol. i figured that out to about 5 gallons a day give or take, at 3 dollars.

  • Hummer h2 in the winter and sl550 in the summer, i spend roughly 500 a month on gas, cost me about 100 to fill up lasts about 5-6 days depending... i love in ottawa, gas costs about $0.90 a liter, your probably american so your gas is slightly cheaper, i forget how many liters are in an american gallon, something like 3.8 so thats about 3.40 a gallon, and Ottawa has the cheapest gas in Canada

  • y do u drive that much? where r u going that u go thru that much gas? and shame on u taking all of Saudi Arabia's petroleum! lol jk i really dont care. one day we'll have self charging (as u drive) electric cars. btw solar pannels would look BA on a car and u all know it. but really. y do u drive a h2?? whats the point? im not saying u r, but r u compensating for a small penis or something? (i mean no disrespect) the reason i ask is because thats what most of the people i knew driving those did.

  • @piatdor I hear in the next few years there will be a 4 door sedan for 55,000...and that fairly competitive. the roadster is a car for rich ppl to buy to ease their conscience and feel like they are better than the rest of us.

  • gay music...

  • hmmmm. Cool car! Wouldn't it be even cooler if it had a magnetic generator for a motor? Well, I'll back to dreaming now. - still a cool car ;]

  • i just like to collect em!!!!!!!!!

  • i got them in hot wheels!!!!!!!!!

  • no what we need is nuclear reactors they produce more power than coal wind solar and and tidal with the added affect it goes about 80 years with out to many repairs but that is not the point sure we could switch to e-cars tomarow but when every one plugs thier car in every city will go dark because even with all the power generating equipment we have to day it is not going to charge all these cars!

  • People will be plugging their cars in at night, a time when electricity is currently still being produced and simply going no where :P

  • If you had off-grid power generation, you would not have to rely on grid production.

    The ultimate in energy independence.

    From Canada, with love

  • I know some people who have driven the Tesla and they said it was a fun car to drive!

  • what about putting a mind mill generator and solar panel on top of that car?

  • I hope you realize that a wind mill would actually make the car LESS efficient lol

  • nikola tesla is one of the smartest man to have ever lived

  • Comment removed

  • No one realises that this car cannot be deemed to produce zero emissions. We live in a world where electricity is mostly generated by burning fossil fuels, more electricity = more carbon emissions.

  • Depend where you live, but anyway i think the future is still the Hydrogen powered standard internal combustion engines.

  • "clean coal" is not the majority of electricity generated. Its a lame point anyway considering how much more carbon emissions are put off by the process of converting oil into usable fuels and then burning them in a combustion engine.

  • Couldn't agree more. More co2=plants grow more , make more food and oxygen for us. As it was in prehistoric times when things grew huge.

  • co2 and co are two different things my friend.

  • Exactly, is why all this stupidity against the so called green house gas CO2 is a big nothing. We need more ways of producing CO2.

  • Wrong. 1st of all el. cars have much lower servicing costs. A litre of gasoline contains about 2.7 kW·h (9.7 MJ) of energy. To calculate the cost of the electrical equivalent of a liter of gasoline, multiply the utility cost per kW·h by 2.7. The Tesla uses about 13 kW·h/100 km, the EV1 used about 11 kW·h/100 km. In the worst case the electric car is at least two times more efficient than normal car.

  • and if there was better solar panel technology wind powered geothermal river turbines , but no more dams they change the ecosystems and the natures course of the river

  • dont you need to change to oil too?

  • ImTextingYouNow= ur an idiot right?

  • lol no i was jokin

  • Well then I guess you have never heard of Zero Point Energy...?

  • justinjkd

this isn't zero point energy, this is energy manipulation..

they need energy to get it going, but less energy makes more engery.

  • I'm not talking about the cars energy. I'm commenting on the coal burning cop out that people give when they say "we need to burn coal in order to produce electricity, which still releases co2." Now that person has limited imformation on how geothermal, tidal, wind and solar energies can eliminate coal burning. Zero point energy can amplify these energy outputs to produce free clean energy for the entire planet. Peace.

  • street racing no one can hear it .

  • It's like a corvette on electric steroids

  • Oil Company's Wont allow it all about Money nice Concept if you can get it going its what we Need but wont get. Too Much in Oil

  • is kind of like wend driving a small wireless control battery car but bigger. LOL!

  • WOW! Yeah great? How much? 100 grand! Keeping the rich, richer & the poor, poorer. Yeah great! Tesla Co. named after Nikola right? who wanted fuck all for his incredible visions and got ripped off. These greedy cunts can all fuck right off.

  • I need one of these Tesla!

Imagin fun and speed without pay a lot of money on oil or Gas anymore.

This car cost 100.000 $ or more but is the same preis of a high performance petrol car. 0-100 in 4sec. That is amazing!

  • remove the fucking music so we can hear it nub..

  • ROTFL what on earth what the first car ?

  • the CEO of TESLA and other electric car manufacturers should have shown up in washington when the big3 was asking for money to tell congress to give them the money instead.

  • this could set the bench mark for other cars but either way the government and fuel companies are gonna screw us over still. we'd still pay electric and road tax

  • Cool sound track! NOT!

  • New Technologies would move much faster if big corporations would set us free. But they won't build it if it doesn't make profits.

We need to embrace technology and build it ourselves. We could change so much and energy could be free to all.

  • Thats why education is so important! Knowledge is power. Share it.

  • Ahh...knowledge, the forbidden fruit.

  • And the auto plants are laying workers off, B.S.!

  • A new world is just around the corner. Wind, Solar and Geothermal will power these cars for free.

The elitist hate this technology and they will stifle it as much as they can.

Free our planet and free the people.

  • what I don't understand is why don't the elitists get a piece of the action so that we can all be happy? If it's money they are concerned about losing, then why don't they build a business model/plan to include exploiting these new free-energy concepts??

  • Amazing!!!

this Car is the public enemy Number One of the World Governments and Lobbies, and by this reason, the public Friend number One of the people.

  • I cannot wait for the day that oil becomes completely redundant.

  • haha how nice to see things will revolutionize our future, say good bye to fossil fuels, i had to give the credit to nikola tesla, hei amerika, stop whinning your political stature nd lets do this this is the future.

  • Nice...how much? (If you have to ask, you can't afford it) Great idea except that the cost is prohibitive. The safe bet says that 90% of the population that could use a car like this (even the more "practical" version) would never make enough money to buy it, with a loan or without.

  • wow!!!sexy and evo friendly!!!!i want one!!!!dig the 80's new wave song 2!!!!

  • Stick an overunity power plant in it and it would go for ever! Edwin V Gray, Lutec Australia, Gemmini... loads of em to chose from

  • how do thye get the elektricity out off teh gas?

  • Both system, electric and compressed air, still need energy sources. they still need so much power to recharge their machines. it's not a new invention at all.

  • Nobody said it was a new invention. Its just where we were to where we are w/ the electric car.

  • but the point with electric is that there are alternatives. stick a solar panel on your roof and power your car for free with zero pollution whatsoever.

  • where do i get one?

    GK

  • Tesla would be proud ;D

  • Wow nice!

  • Electric cars are fine. But if the electrisity used comes from coal, gas or diesel powerplants nothing is gained.

  • you forgot nuclear and hydroelectric, both less carbon footprints and cheaper then coal. Plus, oil needs to be drilled, refined, shipped, trucked, pumped then burned. Very inefficient so Sorry, wrong. Plus, if cars are plugged into the grid for power, we can concentrate our energy into improving the grid. Electric cars are the future but the jury is still out on this particular car..hopefully it will pan out..up next plug in hybrids! These are very promising.

  • I know 3465 people who would dump money on you to have this (yes, theyre all environmentalists)

  • Ide love to drive this thing around!

  • To hell with a gas guzzling porshe I want one of those. Paying HUGE gobs of money 1 time is worth if you never have to pay for fuel just ask those smart folks with solar panels on their roofs and windmills in the back of the house you pay once but never again do the math.

  • The porshe gets decent gas milage.

  • woo hoo! they (oil companies & oil countries) can't kill us all. We all need to keep sharing ideas about energy and free ourselves from oil and assumed power.

  • 0 to 60 in 4.2 seconds. Tops out at 250 MPH. BEATS the f&^k out of the new BMW. And for those of you simpletons - the electrical power can come from solar, wind, or ocean... Let's get moving, and cut the oil-biased crap.

  • It does not go 250 tesla says 177

  • maybe in the past they only went 177 miles per charge but now they have it up to 250 miles per charge.

  • Where the hell did you read that? Tesla´s range is 220 miles

  • "You run on electricity but still have to use oil, coal or uranium to generate it."

Exactly, zero emissions are only possible if you can produce the electricity cleanly.

  • how about the factories and the car itself. nothing can every be zero emissions.

  • hey kartboy, there is a car that even cleans the air. search for compressed air engines.

  • The compressed air engines are not efficient. Chemistry is more efficient than physics. The car does not clean the air they just compress it and run the car off of it. that car is nothing new think of an air compressor all you do is turn it on and run tools.

  • efficiency depending on which point of view. besides the car does clean the air when a filter is added to the air exit, and even more.. it comes at 0° C ... cold enough.. for the global warming, one car does nothing to it.. but if a city uses them.. or a whole country ... this cars go more than 100km p/hour so its nice

  • but if a city uses them.. or a whole country ... or a whole world...maybe not That particular system but A system that scrubs air.Science is driven by achieving a goal which performs a function, not always do they consider long term ramifications of the processes involved.(by-products) Today we can start from the exhaust (what do we need it to output) and work in reverse to make it perform the functions we seek.

  • I'm all up for cars cleaning the air, but if we could just get good enough at emissions to stop this global warming phenomena, nature would take care of the rest.

  • It's great, but let's see how far it goes in Switzerland up all those mountains!

  • Pollution due to emissions is only one of the problems electric cars will solve. Combustion engines were a bad idea since 1885 with Daimler. Fuel dependency is bad for any country, besides its on a limited supply. Electro Mangetic fields will be around to stay. With the only waste comig from the lithium ion batteries, eletric motors are far better with almost 90% less moving parts. If we'd put half the effort into perfecting electric motors they would already be way ahead of gas motors.

  • Of course not, but think about the global impact for the long terms. The impact from the Roadster is of course much less than from a gasoline or dieselcar.

  • If it supposedly costs so little to operate then why is my built-in bullshit detector pegged?

  • you'll never hear of the REAL maintenance costs and people will fail to maintain them anyway, thinking they're indestructible for 100K miles.

  • The 80's synth music on the background says it all...

  • Well, if the battey life is 100,000 miles and the range is 221 miles; then 2 batteries (SUV?) would be 200,000/442 miles (especially at 65 mph). Couldn't a very small "fuel" engine designed only to operate a charging generator, charge one battery while the other battery operates the power train? Switch? Repeat? This would only be used for long distance trips and power failures; and help eliminate the obsessive anxiety involved insuring the 4 hour recharge. Otherwise, it's tow truck city. :-)

  • Pop an Altinater <---Misspell. In that sucker and wal-la...Closed reaccuring current. charges and it runs. 2 sets of battries. Run on one while other charges...auto switch to charged as the others fade and Charges the faded. P.S...I suck at spelling

  • "Nice stuff but what's the point of making electric sports cars?? You run on electricity but still have to use oil, coal or uranium to generate it"

energy efficiency and individual consumer gain.

5 times as efficient in energy consumption, and due to lower cost of production of energy from electrical plants up to 50 times lower cost for individual consumer.

when you can drive 200 or 300 kilometers on 2 dollars of charge , makes a lot of difference..

  • nice...

  • um I'm not paying 93,000 for any car drop the price and then it will catch my interest.

  • 221 miles (356 km) range without charging

(specs in the description box) ^_^

  • Wrong!

  • I agree with your first point entirely, but I'm coming around to the idea of electric cars. It's gonna be a lot easier to produce electricity and then then charge up a car than make a car which generates its own.

We need fast and flashy electrics to catch the public's eye and assure investment. A concept is still a concept but leads to production models, yes?

  • The energy efficiency when producing electricity is way higher than the efficiency of a vehicle engine... so using electric driven cars is one way of lowering the fosil fuel consumption

  • Yes, of course. It's simply and exercise in competitive consumption. That's why so many Americans drive 12 mpg SUVs. Many americans put themselves deeply into debt leasing and fueling these vehicles. Of course, their financial distress is not indicated on a bumper sticker. The car fetish is deeply ingrained in the human psyche. Look at China, for example. No oil, gridlock with 2 percent of the population in a car and the air is like breathing burning tar. Yet gas instead of electric.
