Great review. I love this little guy, though I think he should come with a giant Cybertronian joint :) I just picked up the G1 toy from Ebay as well, one of my favourites way back when.

This figure and Dreadlift I believe are up at my local Wal*Mart in a two pack. It's antagonizing bieng strapped for cash. But the second I can, those two (preferably Beachcomber, the real prize) are so in my collection.

Don't have a problem with the guns. Beachcomber fought Decepticions in G1 so why not?

He didn't have a gun in vehicle mode though,, only in robot mode.

one of the cases in which the overall asthetics don´t look totally "bayish", but closer to the Classics line; I like that. And I still think this mould would make a great Swindle repaint. Nice figure overall, think I´ll keep an eye open for him.

@VengefulRonin Neither am I, and his Bio explains the guns, I just wanted to point it out for those who have a problem with a heavily armed Beachcomber. Also, it makes him just bit more visually different than Dune Runner.
