  • You lift like a beginner. Work on it.

  • this guy is sloppy

  • this is max ot- i dont think so because i have other max ot programm and in this programm workout is 2 or 3 sets and 4-6 reps hmmm.. intereting.. what max ot you have?

  • i training by Max-Ot 2 years end this program is grat), my recomend) this program realy work =)

  • i believe the program works,,but those dumbell curls were just horrid form.. i mean there's cheating and then there's just plan not even working the muscle due to such bad form...that was terrible.

  • heyyy my names john heaton tooo hha spelled the same way and everything haha

  • is it just me or is his form looking a bit on the bad side?

  • is this max-ot? how come jeff willet does it differently than this guy?? imma go for jeff willet.. i dont think this is max-ot..none of what you do in this vid relates to max-ot.. and i was told to flex during the positive and negative phase of a rep..not just simply move...just saying..

  • @27pepsiice tiny details like that will make NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL.

  • this isnt max ot...

  • I has been known that MAX OT is we take 4 - 6 times in one set, i see the video, you take 8 -9 times. there is diffirent ??? MAX OT is what ?

  • imagine a world without weights, idk wtf i would do.

  • @adamsmith85 curl people...

  • this is not max ot training !

you should look at the website again!

about 13 meals, is recommended by jeff willet!

  • This is really the only way to train for me . It might not work for everybody . We're not all the same . Only difference is , I do biceps curls , not back curls . Training with heavy weights can get you injured if you don't aim for good form . Dangerous stuff you're doing mate .

  • Great stuff.

I would say that I see little point in slow negatives on your warm-ups; they are, after all, *warm-ups* and, as such, you're only using them to get ready for your maximum working set (or, as is case with Max-OT, 2-3 max sets/exercise).

But I have to say, mate, if I followed this training paradigm (i'm a DC fellow myself), I'd largely be training as you are.

  • full range of motion cmon

  • isn't it recommended that you do the compund movement (narrow grip bench press) before the isolation ones like the pushdowns and skull crushers?

  • I training with this system for about 3-4 years and what I'm try to say is''if you not eat well,,have rest, compliments, you can't last for very long it is very hard training and need recuperation, now if it is 5 meals or 7 meals it is not the problem. The problem is you need some food very often trough the day for your metabolism

  • this is a weak video. silence during the sets, never letting us know the rest time in between sets, etc. etc. etc. weak.

  • max-ot is the best

i'm doing max-ot for 2 years and what to say i achieve result that i can't with other work-out plans, i did everything, i read the max-ot training a 100 times so i would do no mistake.

but dude you are talking about max-ot but you are not training as the max-ot says. you don't do full moments what are essential, you don't hold 1 second in every rep, i don't see any control in the waits you are lifting .. but i can say for sure you are not the best example for max ot training

  • @1MasterTee Hi the secret in max-ot training is (you right)to follow exactly the rules need high intensity training and when Skip said the last rep must be your last ,he mean it most people they pretend it is all out but in real they stop 2-3 rep before failure .

  • My God dude your form is so bad.

  • max-ot never did crap for me. Well, it did give me some nice injuries though. I work each bodypart 3 times per week now. So much bigger & stronger now.

  • @johnnyu3 well then its your fault to get injured.

  • As for the ipod coming lose from the belt. Arm strap FTW!

  • works only if you eat well 6-7 times a day and you must follow the system correct not skip days.

  • @procroustis From my experience that is not a 100% true. I used Max OT principles "stimulus" and "response" from the heavy weight, in conjunction with Plyometrics. 3 sets 4-6 Heavy Reps, smash and re-build. Then you have the randomness and intensity of Plyo. You are completely right about eating that is paramount. If you cannot get a meal in, just get a bunch of those Meal Replacement Drinks. Those are great and inexpensive.

  • @procroustis wft bullshit ?

you can also eat only 4-5 times a day but then big meals..

  • @procroustis

    atleast 6 times a day.

    6-8 times.

  • @procroustis like every other workout regimen.

  • ive actually started using the tricep bar for skull crusher not too long ago im enjoying it alot it really gets the job done and it seems like i can go a lil heavier when i use it as opposed to the EZ bar

  • MAX -OT great base system! i love it

  • You don't need anything else.

  • As for the spotter, none is necessary. Either you pull the weight to your stomach or you drop it to the floor. Really easy-

  • nice work :)

  • Ive been doing it for 6 weks and i fell thinner! :( not cool! despite of all the eating! why is this?

  • I fail to believe how training with heavy weights 5 or 6 days per week can make you feel thinner. Slimmer maybe as building muscle is more metabolic but not thinner in a bad way as you say. Have you decreased your calories or something?

  • im thinking about starting max ot but im worried that if i can hit the muscles directly because i looked at the website and it proclaims heavy weights what about form? any suggestions

  • it is really between cheating and strict form...not too strict but also not too cheating. It's more of a controlled cheating. I bought skip lacour's pack on muscle max ot dvd, it's pretty the best workout dvd that's cheap i ever bought.

  • I have watched the Skip La Cour and Jeff Willett DVD's. Their form is loose but their physiques speak for themselves.

I definitely improved and got stronger on this method.

  • how's the cardio in skip's DVD? i saw runnin o the threadmill.how'scardio workout on the thread mill like?

  • Max OT cardio according to skip is best done at moderate to high intensity for about 15-20 mins. On his DVD he uses the bike but i have also seen him running stairs, etc.

It all depends on your goals and diet at the time. If you are low on carbs and still lifting heavy, Cardio needs to be moderated. If your sport needs more cardio, do it. With a name like judo throw I assume you are a fighter, not bodybuilder

  • I have cleaned up my form a little since making these vid. I did feel a lot in the muscles, even with the loose form but watching the vids highlighted areas I can work on. As in my commentary, find a balance between good form and efficient movement. Train heavy but know your limits.

  • I've been doing MAX-OT for over a year. I love it, and I love the results. Are you taking AST Supplements? Have you tried the new Anabolic Rush?

  • Just started Anabolic Rush today. Weird colour. Taste not too bad. Had great workout. Lets see over the next two week if compares to NO Explode, etc.
