Some locos are sound fitted but most are not these are factory fitted but you can get them to fit yourself

I am using BACHMANN EASY command at the moment because my DYNAMISS controller is back at bachmann getting repaired from when it stopped sending and receiving commands

Great vids,keep up the good work,can't understand why people wouldn't like one of these,3 or 4 cylinders who really cares after all they are all 'toys' and as long as we all enjoy playing with them,what ever size ,scale etc then great! please could you tell me what dcc system you are using?

Keep it simple outside no point work etc ,Gets damaged easily .The limited edition duchess is not my locomotive

Excellent layout and after watching this I am in discussions with my wife about building a garden layout. Any tips? Both sound Duchess look and sound great and really get a chance to stretch their legs.

Which one sounds the best and the ltd one, was it worth the extra money?

The red duchess is a limited edition it has got head and tail lights firebox lights up and extra sounds

Is the red LMS Duchess a body swap with a City of Sheffield or did you fit/have fitted a separate sound decoder?

Yes same here ,Its a bit cold outside at the moment play with the depot layout in the living room

Just bought Hornby `City Of Sheffield` DCC with sound from Hattons and it`s excellent. Wish I had your layout to run her on. My layout is in a cold shed which at this time of year is unsuitable due to condensation & damp. In the meantime I`m having to make do with the dining room table - however as the track is Roco for my continental models the curves are too tight for `Sheffield` very frustrating! Roll on spring!

you can switch it of - the sound.

In my opinion sound ist the accolate to each model locomotive. But al least its my opinion and everybody must find his own (railroad-) paradise. :-)
