I am personally tired of these kinds of "video lectures"; not to take anything away from good intentions, but a lot of these folks do a GREATER disservice to us with this kind of rhetoric. What they don't realize is that what they are "teaching" translates subconsciously in reinforcing weakness, shame, helplessness & hopeless, & worst of all using a "white bogeyman" to remove responsibility for the bad decisions WE as a people make. There is nothing "empowering" here nor solutions- only whining.

Part 2. Black men are more likely to go to and finish college. Im sorry if people feel hurt, but as a black woman who works hard and has everything, I am tired and fed -up with the attitudes and lack of ambition and responsibility of black men. and i dont want my man doing 3 jobs just so i could pay bills and barely get by. I want a certain quality of life and i refuse to be a housewife. some of this thinking is backwards and i want a man who wants equality in the breadwinning, sorry.

I disagree with his views on women in the workplace. the reason being is that as of late we have encountered a breed of irresponsible and lazy black men who if you choose to depend on will leave you barefoot and pregnant. Blac men these days only want to be clubbin, drinking, smoking or waiting to be the next phenom musically, sport wise. I choose to work hard and provide for me. drug dealing isnt a job and if black men are so superior in excellence why dont they choose post secondary education
