you make a great giant in portlandia haha.. maybe you could do a part 2 where it shows giants and regukar pl cant get along and he attacks. keep up the great work!
I thought it was interesting when the guy said he was using everybody as "playthings" it makes you wonder what a real guy in his position would do? Play with them? Eat them? Force them to worship him, massage his feet and stuff. Possible new video idea maybe?
@larryhoneytoaste haha probably not a new video idea but yeah that's definitely what intrigues me about videos is when they can take a concept and make it realistic in the sense of taking a weird concept and trying to portray the repercussions of something like it.
There are many good ways to make your body color to match the scene. I remember there is a tutorial video about green screen made by Corridor Digital. You can see it in their second channel. It talks about color correction. I think it will help you a lot. :)
@kaionsam lol oh I've seen it. Again, there is difference between a video suggesting what to do, and what actually works for a very specific scene. I spent the majority of my time on this video on the color matching, and I discovered that "color matching" is only a small part of it, something I believe I got right. It's the other things that are much harder to mach, such as the sharpness and sensor scale. I truly believe no one will ever make a legitimately believable giant video.
Great vid. Great acting!! and the effects are superb. You really got this giant effect down now (third vid where you are giant). are you suffering from a little Napoleon complex :p
But GREAT vid.
btw. is Patrick Gorski related to Sam from corridor digital?
@SteelIntangibles Thanks a lot! It's a super tricky effect to nail down, especially since the target is such an odd thing in the first place, so it sits right in the Uncanny Valley. But ha, no Pat isn't related in anyway. Just same last name.
@DoctorStalker1 we meant bone size as in cross sectional area, and may have just said bone mass as a figure of speech. But the principle is the same, and is why elephants have such HUGE legs, to support their mass!
@DoctorStalker1 haha oh yeah for sure buildings would Not support him at all. But then again his shoes wouldn't even be able to support his weight haha. Just one of those leaps of faith you have to take when watching a video about a giant haha
i was thinking that the science guy would disprove how his size could exist by saying a mammal cannot be that big because he is warm blooded and would not be able to remove heat fast enough and would combust... i mean thats what they said about dinosaurs and king kong
@steeveseven Yeah! It was definitely one of the things we considered talking about, but decided that it was counter-explainable by saying that the giant can just tolerate extreme temperatures. We did however consider the amount of work and power output the heart would have to put out to pump blood through the body, which was wayyy too much to be possible for cellular organs of any kind.
@wrenthereaper if you are struggling this might sound stupid but try looking on youtube for help belive me it works, you could also post some practise vids on your 2nd youtube chanel and seeing what your audience has to say
ps i think i spelt some stuff wrong
pps addingnoise and blur helps blend the footage together but its kinda tricky
@DegorothAmon If I went into finer detail with the shadows, this video would never get done haha. There comes a point when it's not worth it to put in 4 hours of work for a "Shadow" that may or may not be noticed during it's 3 seconds on screen. That being said, I mean, I started making this video last September.......
@wrenthereaper wow really, i never knew the process would be so time consuming, yeah i can see your point entirely, anyways im looking forward to more of your vids dude keep at them :)
not saving it was a bad video just saying a bit more polish on the colour correction would have made it 100% but dont get me wrong i still liked and thumbs upd the vid
If he plays ASURA WRATH demo he should totally do the scene with Asura running straight towards the massive GOD blasting him with fireballs - instant 500000 views.
@AndragazProductions Lol I know all about video copilot. And I've gotten fairly useful with cameratracker as well. In fact most of the tracks in this video were from camera tracker. It was a lifesaver for that last shot, even though I converted the track into 2D nulls.
@badlydubbedkungfu Thank you! This video was way more about telling the story than the effects. Instead of just having a bunch of effects shots thrown together, I wanted to show a few implications a giant would introduce to a city that people might not think about. a PSA almost, if you will =P
@worldpvpbattlemaster lol this video would be a million time better if I had a fraction of the budget they get to use. Let's see them try and make this with no money haha =P
@BluePrintAnimations So you're telling me that even though you don't know how to do it, you arbitrarily know that any single person at ILM is better than me? If I got a job at ILM, would that make your statement nullified? lol.
@wrenthereaper Who.... Nothing offense... Just saying that ILM would do a better job, but he! It's there job. And they are with a team. Sorry if I offended you!
@BluePrintAnimations Lol dude I'm not offended, especially since you're probably right, just think about it. This IS my full time job, so I consider myself in the same market. And you're saying that just by my nature of being on youtube, they're more skilled individuals. But forget about it haha, it ain't no thang but a chickin' wing! =P
@worldpvpbattlemaster Dude, do you realize what you're saying? No shit ILM does it better. They're a team of 100 guys that have been in the business for more than 30 years. This is a dude with a camera. Get real man.
@wrenthereaper you know the arcade games where you have the crane and you get a toy? how about giant wren playing a giant sized one with cars and humans as prizes or something similar
@wrenthereaper Call in the military to take your giant ass down, that's what I'll do! Or form an angry mob with torches and pitchforks, whichever comes first

Shouldn't the giant's bone mass be 25^3 or 15,625 times a six foot tall person. He is 25x larger in both width and depth as well.

@wrenthereaper I was just thinking about how heavy he would be and if buildings would support him.
160lbs x 625 = 100,000;
