I had a dream similar to this about 10 years ago. People were running for their lives. Water everywhere. My brother was running with water right behind him. He was running as fast as he could and I could only watch with a fearful heart. My children and I walked a long way to get to a train station that was going to take us to safety. The Mayan calendar has had other times of disasters as well, one of the times was on the date that Cortez found the civilization, so yes, their world did end. But only on a local scale.

As for this movie, they saw something that would hook people and they went for it. Any director would do that.

This isn't a movie you should take seriously.
