Thanks for putting this up dude. I was at this show. I especaily loved it when they did double agent in this show, wish they would do it again. Thanks again dude!
Ok lads you can turn off the CD and stop pretending to play...Oh crap its Rush....silly me I shouldve known better....=D. I was wondering why it sounds so close to the album. I want a Peart Beanie. Who else has noticed that since listening to Rush MOST other music sounds so boring...or is it just me.
What impresses me the most about Peart isn't his his chops, which are enormous. He plays every song NOTE FOR NOTE, pattern for pattern, EXACTLY like the record. Everything. That is incredible.
...why they are not in the hall of fame IS A FUCKING DISGRACE - I am from Cleveland and I will not step foot into that place until they are elected in...looks like I'm never gonna' go...
@rushxtc1 The RNRHF is a fucking joke. Micheal Jackson is a hero there. While he was a fine entertainer what does he have to do with rock and roll? I dont think RNRHF is good enough for Rush. Clearly they are more intrested in whats popular then whats relevent to what they stand for.
Yes, this would have been an awesome video had their been a better view for the shooter. It almost sounds like the cam is plugged into the board, not over driven really at all, you can really pick out the base synth and alex, excellent to listen to, RUSH LIVE LIKE STUDIO. THUMBS UP. MET ALEX AT A RADIO SHACK IN RICHMOND HILL ONT SHIT AROUND EARLY 80'S
nope, tits gone, just checked. That one video has a"removed by WMG unauthorized" I'm not sure how Warner Music cam lay claim to a bootleg video shot at a concert especially when there is no live show for sale of the counterparts tour that unauthorized footage could imfringe on
@FLCLRVDFan i ve seen them live and believe me ...they are simply the best when it comes to live performances . they sounded unbelievably fabulous ...you just did nt want the concert to end ..they kept me wanting more and more . they went through NATURAL SCIENCE (which is quite a long song ) with such ease and perfection that everybody was wondering if it was actually live . they are the best ...not a single doubt . they rule .
Excellent sound for a bootleg. Only wish the view was a bit better and not so obscured in parts. This song is definitely somewhere in my top 10 favorite Rush songs.
What A band .. Soo much energy, they play more powerful without the dancing the so called heavy meatal bands do these days, all i say is i hope these new bands look and learn from these masters.
I was sitting straight away for this show and I had a 13 year old with his grandmother watching this show...He turned to me and I told him it was Analog Kid going...He jumped out of his chair..We rocked all night...Rush is awesome..Get Rushified
dont know why but it seems that rush were either tired or bored. That'S whats great, cause even if their not playing 100% they're still amazing!!!!!!!!
i was 19 years old going to college for something i didn't want to do heard this song and said yeah that's me....the whole album spoke to me and the boys at centennial.
Just like the days before high school graduation! I listened to "Signals" before I graduated and I remember my parents driving me back home while listening to "Countdown".
When I leave I don't know what I'm hoping to find! And when I leave I don't know what I'm leaving behind!
nice video, bloke, you didn't get alex's solo, but, fortunatlatle for me who shoots from the hip, interpolation is a technique learned from emerging from behind the waterfall.
The best is the Chorus - beautiful synth chords, nice rythm and vocals and especially the bass pedals if you ever hear the cd version on a nice system.
This is the only Rush tour I've ever missed in 35 years! Always loved this song. Unlike many so-called purists, I liked the Signals album. In fact I met Ged and Alex backstage in Denver after the Signals show back in 82. Unfortunately my nasty ex kept the signed program. Bitch.
By far one of their best and most underrated songs. This album came out when I was in high school and this song definately describes some of the emotions a young man -- sucj as myself -- has when he is comptemplating that next stage of his life - the departure and stepping out on his own.

Does anybody know what this song is about exactly? Don't get me wrong, I have always loved this song, but what's it about?
paragshah2112 3 years ago
To me, the song is about youth and the vagaries of existence.
It is about that yearning for something more that you know is out there but do you have the strength to seek it out?
You know that you must do something but you're not even sure what it is.
