That's the 1936 EH-100 Black leatherette. It wasn't a "budget" model...it was sold as a combo with a lap Hawaiian guitar for $100. That was not cheap, as a person could buy a good used car for $100 in the late 30's ! Unusual tube layout, given the supposed Gibson schematics for the model. That big ST must be the 80 rectifier.

I own the next step up, the EH-125 that debuted in 1941, then was discontinued because of the war. Less than 100 of those were ever made.
