You can really do this to anybody (make them look bad). While I'm certain that drugs and age had an impact, this didn't mean Whitney couldn't sing at all, just that she was prone to a bad outing if she didn't properly rest herself. Even the top athletes have bad days. Whitney needed the audience's support and understanding, not their disdain and criticism. I am sure the same people booing her are the ones that is now saying: "Oh we will miss her." You can really do this to anybody (make them look bad). While I'm certain that drugs and age had an impact, this didn't mean Whitney couldn't sing at all, just that she was prone to a bad outing if she didn't properly rest herself. Even the top athletes have bad days. You could just as well upload video of a hall-of-fame quarterback in a game where they threw multiple interceptions and fumbled away the ball or show a star sprinter who false starts or stumbles on the track.

The first part of the video shows a glamerous and beautiful voiced singer. The second part shows how someone (anyone, no matter who you are) can be affected by the use and abuse of drugs and alcohol. Its truly sad to see her slow demise and loss of her awesome ability to hit high notes. Sad, truly sad. Yet, her music from years past is such a wonderful reminder of the excellent talent this woman had and for that, I am grateful. I love her music and truly am saddened by her death.RIP WHITNEY!

This, is so heart breaking to me. She was not only such a beautiful looking woman, but such a beautiful powerful singer, as well. The fact that she felt the need to turn to drugs for the reason to fix or runaway from whatever was going on in her life, is hard to understand. And then the fact that she died basically by her own vice, is devastating. She had both beauty and talent. I hope she found peace now, wherever she may be. We saw what she did, but God knows why she did it. RIP, Whitney.

She tried her best till the end. Even though she went through the drug use etc, she still tried. Her musical director should have pulled the plug on her concerts because she just wasn't ready for that. May she rest in peace and I'll always remember the young Whitney.

Everything is debatable, and I'm not quite sure to which performer you refer, but as to total awards no female artist received more than Whitney Houston and as to the best seller and greatest chart performer, that's Elvis actually by quite a bit as shown in the history of the Top 40 Rock, Pop and R & B charts as compiled by Joel Whitburn where rankings are based upon a singer's overall chart showings with a point system. @OutlawMCC Whitney' sang much better after this; in 2010 she had a throat infection and her voice was the worst. Look for her 2011 video titled "Whitney's new song" when she got back in good shape and her voice was fine. She also looked very nice. Quite a big difference!
