I was chuckling as I watched this...cat is acting nonchalant and Geronimo is just so interested in what's going on. To see a cat and bird together is fun too...must have grown up around each other? Karen :)

@pencilluna10 I never leave Geronimo alone with the cat. Geronimo got control when Giocoso was a kitten. Geronimo is my only bird. Macaw Betty belongs to Kris who is telling her story. Thanks for your concern!

@birdlady423 well thats good i like alll animals but its usually the humans fault for letting one of their pets die although u seem to got it under control =3 anyways my friend owns 2lovbirds a bunny a dog and i think a cat and a hamster lol and they all get along she told me that the bunny sometimes preens the lovebirds XD

@pencilluna10 i would but her bunny ran away and got run over and one of her lovebirds got eaten by a cat she was too late to save her IT WAS NOT HER OWN CAT her cat was with her going for a walk (yea i dont know how she got her cat to walk outside either o.O) when she got home she saw the window net removed by her dad and a stray cat in her living room.............. she was crying a lot >> her dad said that he was cleaning out the net as it was dirty or somthing like that =/

Linda!! I loved your video! Geronimo was so gentle with the cat and the hat! My silly Valentine would have grabbed the hat off of his head and shredded it.

And I loved the comment about making your next pet a rescue! So many birds/cats/dogs/horses are in rescues and need forever homes.

Thank you Jan for your precious comment. Geronimo would have loved to have shredded the hat, but I told him not to chew and it actually worked.

I so wish that everyone would rescue until there are no more rescue centers in existence. I really wish bird breeding would stop, and then there would be no more birds in cages. I do believe in taking care of the birds we already have, but birds should own the sky. There are 600 bird rescue centers & probably waiting lists for all of them.

I hope you post your rescue story this year! I just know that the comparison of an abused bird and being in a war will make your video one of the very BEST on youtube. I will help in any way I can. We need all the rescue stories we can get because there are too many birds in rescue centers.

lol Geronimo was so cute with the hat. I thought he was going to put it back on a couple of times. Geocoso was also adorable. Oh! I DID rescue my next pet. I got her today! Yesterday a friend gave me a hand-me-down digital camera (my favorite kind, hand-me-down) and it take 1-1/2 min videos. All I need now is a USB cable and to learn how to put them on YT and you'll get to see her. I'm so excited. She is so sweet! I'll talk to you next year (haha).  Ann :D

Geronimo is very cute! I have not uploaded many videos of peaches lately. Her feathers seem to be getting a bit better but she still has a lot of missing feathers on her chest and back.

Thanks Darksmith! Peaches is still a cutie pie even with a few missing feathers. Did I tell you about Bitter Yuck, a spray, that helps stop birds from plucking? It is an herb, rosemary, which tastes very bitter. I use it on Geronimo. It really does help.
