Hi, I lived in pretoria for 12 years, in summer it is hot and dry , average temp low to mid thirties. Thunderstorms quite common, heavy down pour, doesn't last long. In winter it is quite cold in the morning and night as there is no central heating indoors, during the day the sun shines most of the time, temp is mild and cool.
I am a South African living in the UK for over 10 years now. I really do miss South Africa. Despite all the problems - I miss those trees and the warmth and the good times I had. Pretoria was a good place to live.
I really didn't want a whole discussion on racism on this post and am going to delete the racial comments. This video was about my time in South Africa which I very much enjoyed and consider the Country to be my second home. Any more racial abuse towards either blacksa or whites and they will be deleted.

It was filmed from Ben Swart Street into Pretoria City and back again. Are you from S.A? If so where abouts?
