Although I had only known of Dom's existance for only 5 days before 11/4/11 seeing him die made me almost cry. All night I think of why Dom couldn't just shoot the container of exposives with his gun but he had to be the hero and kill himself in the process. Without the sad music I think that I wouldn't have almost cried.

Ive played gears 1 and 2 and the makers of this game series have really done an awsome job with everything from the gameplay to the graphics and the story. i believe 'Mad World' was the first ever GOW trialer, so it is fitting as Dom's requiem. i'm not angry at the makers of this game for killing him off - they only did it because they knew that people cared about Dom, despite him being a fictional character, and therefore they must care about him more than anyone, having created him-you always kill the ones you love.

Also, his sorrowful sacrifice is the most awesome death of any game i have ever played.
